Find out what Vietnamese restaurants to try in Erlangen. About 10 miles north of Nuremberg, Erlangen is the home of the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (Friedrich-Alexander-University), founded in 1742. Just over 100,000 people live here, about a third of whom are involved with the university; about another third work for the Siemens corporation. Bergkirchweih, Erlangen’s annual festival - akin to Munich’s Oktoberfest - opens in a different beer cellar every year and is attended by over a million people in its twelve-day run around Pentecost.

The restaurant looks classy and that is the only positive thing I can say about it.We ordered the Vietnamese pancakes/omelet which had interesting salad greens on the side, fried rice, spring rolls, and barbecued pork in a bowl. Everything that we ordered was extremely greasy that after a few bites, we didn't want to eat anymore. If you find yourself here, maybe order the sushi as it doesn't need to be cooked. Then again, it's a Vietnamese restaurant, not Japanese.

I changed my hairdresser, which led to the discovery of this small restaurant in the neighborhood. It is not spectacular from the outside, but it is definitely worth the search. Food is prepared as you order and it is tasty, portions are ample and one leaves deeply satisfied. I have visited a couple of times by now and it was always a pleasure.

Pleasantly surprised by a real proper Vietnamese Pho. Very Spartan ambience. But the food's all worth it. The Vietnamese couple serves a soup that could be equally on a corner in Saigon. And a steal at 7 EUR for a huge bowl.

This is a great little Vietnamese restaurant. Small interior nicely decorated. Menus are available in English if your German is limited (like mine).Excellent choice of dishes catering for a range of preferences. The duck dishes are highly recommended.Portion sizes are generous and dishes are well presented and served promptly. Suitable for families with children. Booking in advance is advisable. Pricing is extremely reasonable given the quality of the food. Staff are friendly and courteous. Definitely recommended.
