My husband and I ate at this restaurant about three times. Each time, the food was very fresh and presented beautifully, but it just lacks the flavor that my taste buds are screaming for. The spring roles are great, but I like them with peanut sauce, and the peanut sauce is very bland. Yes, I know that I can just add some hot sauce, but the peanut sauce itself is just tasteless. I ordered a noodle dish that was tasteless as well. We will try it again, but I'm hoping that they spice things up a bit.

Decided to give this place a try for lunch. The food was great. Very flavorful. Tried the pho, sesame chicken and spring rolls. All were very nice, presented well and tasty. Portions were generous and prices reasonable. The service was also good. We'll be back.

This great little Vietnamese restaurant is in the west end of the little strip mall (Grocery Outlet) at the corner of Greenback and Auburn Blvd. in Citrus Heights,This place has only been open about five months or so but already is popular among the lunch crowd. So to be honest we went there because they had a coupon on Restaurant.com and we were in the area. They have lots of tables inside and we were quickly and politely seated and given menus. Ice water suddenly appeared as we studied the menus. When we ordered, My wife ordered the Bar B Qued pork and shrimp over vermicelli and I ordered the vietnamese special sandwich. The food came very quickly and was just scrumptious! Never having had Vietnamese food before, I was very impressed! My sandwich was excellent and my wife gave me a tast of hers and it was mouth watering! They have several varieties of hot sauces on the table to use and I tried their trade secret home made chili oil and it was some of the best I have ever had. I told the owner that he should bottle it and sell it - I would buy a case.So the food is excellent but so is the service. My water glass was always full and even the owner went around to see that everyone was enjoying their lunch. He is a very enjoyable fellow and very knowledgeable about many cuisines in different countries. So if you are looking for a new place to try, don't miss this one! We will be back!
