just go!!. it´s a tiny and modest location on the way to the most popular beaches in the Island, and the waiting lines might be long, but it is worth trhe wait. Don´t miss the "arepa special!

This restaurant has a great staff serving the best Spanish and Portuguese food in the whole island. It has an ambiance and incredible service. The owner is always there to help. The Spanish dishes and Portuguese fish recipes are without a doubt the best of the best.

Moderately priced food and good service, something you do not get in many places in Venezuela and should be highly appreciated... this restaurant is run by the same management as "El Remo" and "Lugar de Encuentro" on 4 de mayo in Porlamar, which can all be recommended.If you don't like the busy and loud atmosphere, you shouldn't go to Venezuela at all ;-)

...but it should not influence the food quality, maybe the prices. One of the few places that serves traditional Margariteño food, best Pastel de Chuzo in Venezuela (no wonder, Ruben has invented this dish...).

Venezuelan food is very tasty and the arepa rellena, a type of corn meal muffing stuffed with just about any options of things, if one of its cornerstones. Tostadas, as they are also called, can be ordered with ham and cheese, all sorts of white cheeses, salads, seafood, you name it. My favorite ones are pernil (rosted pork) with tomato and carne mechada, a pulled beef in tomato sauce preparation which is rich in flavor and yummy beyond believe. They also have other great Venezuelan dishes and the place is excellent for breakfast, lunch, dinner or a quick snack. It is not fancy but is is very clean and the service is appropriate. This is a keeper.
