This has become my favorite steakhouse in Caracas. Why? Excellent service, excellent food properly prepared, and decent prices.Despite the shortages that have limited the menus of their competitors, in October 2014 when we visited, they were offering their full menu of steaks, seafood, poultry and local dishes. The meal was started as a proper Venezuelan upscale meal should, with arepas, casabe (a cracker made from cassava) and fresh cheese. I ordered the onion soup and the grilled rabbit. While the soup was good but forgettable, the rabbit was close to perfection. Served mostly boned, it was very slightly overcooked, a forgiveable sin as it was grilled. The others at the table ordered the local dish pabellon criollo, and steaks. Everyone was more than satisfied with their meal.

Located arguably in the safest area of Caracas with many good restaurants, this may be my favorite!Very good service, quality food (home made chips and tequenos are my favorite in Caracas), nice atmosphere and very good price too! So... I don't see any lack

At this moment this is the best steak house in Caracas period. Great service and very good location. Order the cheese appetizers with the arepas.... then order either the t bone or the bife.... you will not be disappointed... deserts are not the strong point of this place so avoid....

Atmosphere is great, classic, quiet, natural, surrounded of lush tropical vegetation (that´s why Tarzan´s name came into place), no Air Conditioning but being located at near 3,200 feet high, needs no artificial cooling. This place is maybe 50 years old but it keeps its good service and exquisite meats. Very good for a relaxed time and a great grilled meats experience as well as some old dishes in its traditional menu.

I've been coming to this restaurant for years and have had little complaints... this trip, service was still above average but food... here is where I ask what happened !!! Ordered several starters like tequenos, yuca tequenos and both were awful! The fried cheese... worst... salad was good.... meat, well maybe it was this day, but not good, over cooked and not tender.... desert was also below average...Will return to see if it was just this one time...Enjoy

This is a fantastic place, highly recommended. The menu is interesting, the food fresh and really tasty, and the staff are first-class. It's busy and bustling (at least it was at lunchtime today) and is easily one of the nicest places I've eaten in Caracas. Order one of the barbecue options and it's brought to your table on a miniature barbecue grille. How cool is that? Well worth a visit.

A top notch restaurant, very large, with a waterfalls inside. Seating for large groups is possible. There are several grilling stations around the restaurant, so you may see your meat cooked. They also offer good deals on bottles of wine. There is a full bar in th restaurant, that often offers live upbeat music, (at times a little loud, so choose your seating accordingly). It is Avery large place, so you have lots of choices. There is a viewing station at the entrance, so you may select you cut of meat by viewing your choices. Parking is difficult in the neighborhood, so use their Valet parking, fast, efficient and donation.

This is a place were you'll be surprised by quality and foremost creativity! Cesar Garcia is an excellent chef with international education and experience. His offer is based on local ingredients treated in unthought ways that render them amazing. His black bean soup is just sublime. A limited menu offer that changes every 8 months or so. Unique deserts all design by Garcia complements a great experience !

The place looks amazing! Great atmosphere and design.Service is great, and drinks too, they have great cocktails with and without liqueur, regretfully I haven't have good luck with the main courses. They are not bad, but they are not great either and it is what I would expect here. I would recommend first courses and desserts, since they were the best part the times I've been at Moreno.
