I would love to recommend this place for all tourists and locals as well. Here you can find non-trivial dishes cooked from traditional local ingredients. There a lot of original stuff, so the only problem is that it's hard to choose. My personal recommendation - try the pate. It is so tender and it's served a bit unusual. And don't miss Odessa Black by Colonist if you like depth red wines with a lot of tannins.

we arrived with no reservation so had to wait 15 minutes which was fine. once inside, a table in the corner was offered, we order the fish eggs,Varenyky and some salo, all were delicious. service was good and a bottle of ukrainian wine was drank.

First; reserve a table on the 2nd floor with river view. Then start with the fantastic sala plate, silodka and whatever you feel like (great borsh?). Then go for some shashlik which is just fantastic. Vodka the whole way through and Alexandre will take good care of you. My preferred one is Rada; good quality/price ratio. You can also book (ahead of time) a boat for up to 7 people or up to 20 or so. Five of us ate here after noting the steak selection, including steaks from Kansas City, USA. We started with excellent borscht, some steak tartar prepared at the table, followed by a variety of fantastic beef from both the Ukraine and USA. Note the USA beef is expensive but that is expected - I had a Ukrainian chateaubriand that was *superb*. We had a variety of delicious sides and three bottles of wine, and some had dessert, followed by a few vodka shots. Not cheap, but we weren't there to save money, and the meal was out of this world. My vote for the best restaurant in Kiev... though admittedly I only ate at three!

We came 5 girls on Friday evening for dinner, tables were all reserved and we took bar chairs, which was the best idea as it came out later :) Bartenders were the cutest, most friendly and caring persons. As soon as we walked in, Marianna made us feel welcome. She talked us through the menu and helped us choose the duck dumplings to share for starter and the chocolate espresso martini. We then had chicken Kiev and the fillet mignon accompanied by a different sipping shot each to compliment the dish (she also helped me choose a strawberry cheesecake cocktail) Then for dessert we had a tiramisu cocktail and a trump beer. The food was absolutely incredible and Marianna was equally as incredible. She really made our night enjoyable! Dear guest, thanks a lot for your warm feedback! They dont speak english at all but that is not an obstacle. Theyre friendly and very welcoming. We had lunch and it was delicious. A Lot of different cuisines.Thank you for visiting our restaurant, your letter and the good rating. Some of our wait staff speak English, but we apologize that we were unable to use them to serve your table as they were not on duty for your visit.
