An excellent restaurant in a small tuscan village .We ate hear with some italian friends the food is of top quality both seafood and meat.The prices are very reasonable and we would recommend a visit if you are inthe area.

Had a delicious pasta meal here on Sunday 24th April 2016. The service was excellent, the waiters were almost running around the whole restaurant to give great service to all it's customers. It's a very busy restaurant, so I'd recommend booking a table in advance. I will definitely come back to Ci Ritorno next time I'm in Pontedera and can truly recommend this place to anyone considering eating out here.

What an amazing place! Thanks to great reviews on TripAdvisor we decided to visit this rural gem.The food was good, plentiful and truly Tuscan. Antipasti, pasta, meat and fresh vegetables, followed by a lovely dessert made us more than content.The house wine is special treat - something special , but not so out of the ordinary that it becomes odd. Spicy olives, fresh cherry tomatoes, lovely basil and home made olive oil were all lovely culinary surprises.The place is small, and the people are friendly. The proprietors take great pleasure in demonstrating their produce, their food and chatting with the customers. We felt welcome into an Italian family dining experience. The restaurant is outside, so bring a shawl or some bug spray if you are sensitive.The wine (both white and red) are for sale, together with the olive oil.There is no credit card machine, so bring cash :) Absolutely worth the drive Please visit - because this is amazing.

Ate here on our first night in Pontedera, our Italian isn't much good, but the staff very kindly read us the menu. The food was lovely, we all had three courses, but the duck was beautiful as was the carbonara. This is more of a wine restaurant rather than beer, however the waiter went out of his way to buy beer from a shop for my husband which we thought was a nice touch. A lovely hidden gem which I would highly recommend. We enjoyed an exceptional dining experience this evening at Aurora Taverna. The menu is in Italian so our waiter was great to translate.. Everything was perfect and the restaurant was spotlessly clean and lovely! We highly recommend! You will not be disappointed!

Great restaurant tucked away in Bientina Toscana nice place overlooking a man made lake.We had dinner there on a Monday the food was mouth watering.We had some lovely pasta with shellfish my friend had some delicious ravioli and the Frittto misto was superb.We then had a Fiorentina , a fillet and fresh fish all cooked to perfection.We opted for their local wine by the carafe which was from a Montalbano winery quite good.Desserts were amazing , service 100% the owner who is of Corsican origin takes pride in her work and really takes care of her clients.Grazie di Cuore!!!
