Located in Via Mentana adjacent to the Grand Hotel Royal off Viale Carducci (main coast road).Visited twice due to TA reviews and were not disappointed. The 'Eight Sins' burger is a focaccia bun which contains beef, buffalo cheese, tomatoes, crispy bacon, onion and red peppers and is a must have experience. The beef used is from the Chianina variety which is the largest and one of the oldest cattle breeds in the world. The 'Ira' or 'Wrath' burger is a focaccia bun which contains buffalo ricotta cheese, courgette flowers, orange zest and caper powder. The ''Invidia' or 'Envy' burger is a focaccia bun which contains tomatoes, oven roasted vegetables and oregano.Other non-burger options are fish (fried seafood and seafood salad), meat, vegetarian and vegan dishes.Meat and cheese products are free range and all vegetables are organic. The bread is made from 100% stoneground Italian wheat flour mixed with sour dough yeast and left to rest in the fridge for 48 hours. The chef, Marco is very friendly and sources high quality ingredients in his dishes at reasonable prices.Overall, highly recommended and a return visit is guaranteed.

During two weeks in the Montecarlo area we had a good number of restaurant meals and this was the most disappointing. There is an attempt to give the tradditional lucchese cuisine a modern twist but, as my coffee flavoured risotto attests, this doesn't always work. The 85 euro bill for two was way too expensive.

Casale La Piaggia is a small agriturismo established in 2012 thanks to a real passion of the patrons for the true Tuscan cuisine and its forgotten traditional recipes. Most of the ingredients used are organic and produced by our farm Casale La Piaggia. Ou
What an amazing place! Thanks to great reviews on TripAdvisor we decided to visit this rural gem.The food was good, plentiful and truly Tuscan. Antipasti, pasta, meat and fresh vegetables, followed by a lovely dessert made us more than content. The house wine is special treat - something special , but not so out of the ordinary that it becomes odd. Spicy olives, fresh cherry tomatoes, lovely basil and home made olive oil were all lovely culinary surprises. The place is small, and the people are friendly. The proprietors take great pleasure in demonstrating their produce, their food and chatting with the customers. We felt welcome into an Italian family dining experience. The restaurant is outside, so bring a shawl or some bug spray if you are sensitive. The wine (both white and red) are for sale, together with the olive oil. There is no credit card machine, so bring cash :) Absolutely worth the drive Please visit - because this is amazing.

Sanwiches - plates - cakes - wine
We found this sandwich shop a short walk from the main attractions in Pisa. Very friendly staff, great selection of tasty sandwiches, nice choice of wines. We had the vegetarian and the Porchetta with Brie, the â¬4.50 recommended wine was delicious. You can take away or eat in, no extra charge, we highly recommend this restaurant for lunch.

Daily home made pasta, hot soups, Braised, roasted and grilled meat. Simply tuscan, simply genuine, Tuscan pastfood.
The food and service were exceptional due to local ingredients cooked to perfection. The service was outstanding with every dish fully explained. We had a wonderful wine suggested to us and it was the right choice. The views are stunning and the restaurant very comfortable. What a glorious experience for my birthday and honeymoon celebration. The past was fresh and had so many choices in preparation. The beef main course was full of flavour. We loved it. Thank you so much

It's all the times busy, but you cannot avoid to spend 5-10 minutes in the queue to taste the famous 5&5 (cinque e cinque), the historical name of a sandwich made by french bread and "torta di ceci", a "look-like omelette" made by chickpeas flour !!

fresh pasta produced by us and cooked to eat on site or take away, second courses of the Pisan tradition, fresh carpaccio of chianina meat, raw salmon, fresh tuna. chef's salads, vegan, vegetarian, chicken, sea, cheese.
Had the ragu and the pasta with ricotta and eggplant. Lovely friendly service, price cannot be beaten (at â¬5 each). The pasta was cooked to perfection, however I found the sauce a too salty for my liking. Definitely worth a stop on the way back from leaning tower.

TUSCAN STREET FOOD Wine & Sandwiches Tuscan specialities Lampredotto, trippa, porchetta and Tuscan Soap. News: "Il Fegatello" AIR-CONDITIONED RESTAURANT
This is a real gem! It's a specialist place for Italian cured meats. We had the mixed platter for two and it was fantastic. Best I've tasted! And since less common varieties as well. Staff were really friendly. He even went next door to get my wife some hot water! Now that's service. A must try if you can in Pisa.

Haven arrived in Pisa that morning we were looking for a recommendation where to eat and we steered in the direction of Osteria I Santi, wow, we were seated outside and attended to straight away, we shared a starter, CAPRESE SALAD superb whit crusty bread to soak up the Olive oil, for the main I had SLICED BEEF, excellent and plenty o fit too, my other half had SPAGHETTI ALLE VONGOLE and we washed that down with a chilled bottle of local rose and finished off with a dessert (ladies choice) TIRAMISÃ, what an opening evening and the best was yet to come the bill was â¬55 . . . . excellent service, food, atmosphere, . . . and great value, to cap it all I was presented with a bottle of red wine on leaving, as a present (its their own label) we drank it that evening on the balcony of our hotel, overlooking the leaning tower of Pisa, what a start to our 4 daybreak, "Thank you"
