Chef Enrico Orlandini (son of Marcello),Marcello is a poet as well as archivist of traditional Tuscan cuisine. He has written a Tuscan cookbook in the old tradition. The restaurant is small but the food fresh and authentic and iris inexpensive.

It is certainly worth while to reserve a table for an evening meal.Food was very good, weâve eaten 'fiorentina'. Slightly expensive wine. Charming wall decoration made by guests from all over a world - gives you an idea of lasting impression. I recommend.

We have visited this area of Tuscany many times and have always paid a visit to this lovely little restaurant, the food is excellent as is the service. You always need to make a reservation to guarantee getting in here so book in advance.

What a great place! Incredible choice of wines & superb local craft beers. Whilst not a restaurant as such, food is available and the plate of local meats & cheeses is enormous! Hosts very friendly and excellent music too; what's not to like!!

Recommended by our hotel, very good, fast, owner made us feel as we were VIP's, happy to accommodate American tourists. The food was excellent and very reasonable. Loved the local flair, in fact, went back two nights in a row.

Had dinner here last night. We all sat outside which was really nice a lovely courtyard. You can eat inside as well. They have a great Italian menu, with a number of evening specials. They realldo make the best pasta dishes. They have a great wine list to zele t from. Katia and her team know how to look after you. Plenty of parking outside.

My friends and I visited Lo Zero for a dinner in our first night in Tuscany. It was an unexpected fine dining experience. The chef makes everything by hand: the bread, the pasta. Everything was fresh, local, and delicious. Really a great experience. We went with a baby, so we had to head out at 11pm (after 3 hours) so we missed out on their dessert and grappa, but I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a reasonably priced dining experience with fresh local food. The staff was welcoming and sweet; I will definitely make a point to come back here next time Iâm in Tuscany.

Spectacular view of Tuscany. We had a great time learning how to make pasta. Sarah was an awesome host, everyone was helpful during the pasta-making class. The food was delicious. The ingredients all came from the farm, including the olive oil, wines, and meats. We are glad that Italy decided to invest in Agriturismo

if you are anywhere near by âDonât miss this GEM of a dining and culinary experience. We have the great opportunity to travel quite a bit â this just jumped to our number one culinary/ dining experience. We were staying in Florence and took a brief car trip south to tour the area. Itâs off the beaten path but google maps got us there. The Inn fits right into a picture postcard. The service is very friendly and attentive. The food is just EXCEPTIONAL. The chef (Guido) can over to our table and he mirrors the engaging atmosphere of the Inn We were 2 couples and we all had different dishes - all were great. Skip the âstarredâ restaurants in Florence and find/ enjoy this experience. We ate here twice during our week in Tuscany.The service is generally excellentThe ravioli excellentThe local chicken also excellentThe steak we felt a little chewy The complaint from me is from our second visit. We ordered the chicken with truffle from the main menu (page open, pointed, used my poor Italian). The waiter asked if we wanted white or black (which we took to mean an option with that dish) , we shrugged, and said white.It wasn't until our bill came that we realised white dish is twice the price. For those who know truffles I'm sure that's obvious, but there was no warning or redirection to the separate truffle special menu.When we raised this we were simply told "I asked if you wanted black or white", and that was the end of the conversation. I can't really fault the food, but I think a more professional host would mention when they're taking you off main menu, or show some appreciation for the fact you clearly shrugged when asked to make the choice in the first place.Shame, walked away from a nice dinner frustrated and annoyed rather than planning to return.
