We visited Dilara in September this year during a stay around Laatzen for a fair. They accommodated our booking for 18 people of mixed dietary requirements and suggested a Mezze style meal for all to share. The starter was great, several plates of meat, vegetable and cheeses. The main was a mix of grilled and stew meats. We were seated outside on a nice warm evening, the service was great - the Chef/owner came out to see us several times. There was a mixture of English and German speaking within the waiting staff, they were friendly and catered to veggie and Hindu dietary requirements.Definitely worth a try!

Having gone to an Indian restaurant the first evening of our two-day stay in Hildesheim, we chose a Turkish place the second evening, and were very glad we did. Kapadokya is outstanding. We had the Icli kofte, made from ground meat with bulgur, as a starter. One of our main dishes was the Makamali turlu, aubergines with zucchini, potatoes, and tzatziki. The other main dish was the Adana kebap with pommes and yoghurt. Everything had bright flavors and freshness. The red Turkish wine, Pammukale, was excellent too. Service was prompt and friendly. The restaurant was full of regular customers, all warmly greeted like âfamily.â We highly recommend this place.
The restaurant is a must visit if you like Turkish food. They BBQ meats an vegetables over open fire creating delicious dishes. Our quick diner we planned ended up to be a great culinary trip to Turkey.
