Super friendly service by the waiters and chef. 4 days in Kars, 4 times I went to Sef Juggler. Try grilled aubergine soup, it is delicious! While most of the other restaurants in Kars serve kebab, lahmacun, pide ... Sef Juggler serves different menu. Ah, the chocolate souffle with ice cream is yummy!

Beydi (?), ground lamb in rolls with yogurt sauce, grilled tomatoes, Anaheim chile and bulgar on the side... moist and delicious! Other dish of large rounds of eggplant with small patties of ground lamb kebab wasn't as satisfying... be sure to remove the eggplant skin before eating it though.Six country boys in red vests are clueless about service but the upstairs dining room to which you are pushed to is surprisingly pleasant.Very popular with the local professional class.

Of course locals know about this restaurant on the lake CIdIr, where you can taste local fresh fish. Good and honest and unpretencious cuisine, there are tables outside with a view on the beautiful lake and mountanous steppes, as well as inside. Need yoyr own transportation.

Delicious local food with their own, homegrown, organic ingredients. You will enjoy Kars cuisine with this family run restaurant in a neatly renovated, old Russian building. You can also contact them for your boutique tours within the city (like Bogatepe-Village Zavot) or nearby areas. If I was to stay one more day, I would probably prefer to spend the night of the New Year here.

We tried Hanimeli Restaurant both for luch and dinner. We tried almost eveything on the menu.Hanimeli is a fusion meal restaurant practising Turkis, Iranian & Azerbaijani cuisine.Every meal was nice whereas i specifically can advise Iranian style meatballs, cabbage rolls and a special Azerbaijani dessert called "Gafil Gonak" (meaning guest showing up with short notice, last moment guest)..I totally recommend the restaurant. Ask the owner, if you're lucky you may be served with delicious homemade Syriac wine too..

If you want to eat international food in Kars you are in the perfect place. The restaurant offers a wide variety of food from beef stragonoff to plain steak to entrees. Prices are reasonable and in the winter season you can have the local goose.A must try in the Kars region. It is also good for dates.

What can I say everything we ate was delicious.. It is very clean, reasonably priced but the most important part is the owner Nuran hanim and her energy, her love for beautiful Kars and its traditions and the women of Kars.. Definety have a dinner in this cozy place and have a chat with its owner, you wonât regret it!

apparently, the bakers are off on sundays , so dont expect to find fresh bread in any place you go to. that is the case for the last 3 years the owner told us. He was kind enough to offer us some appetizers with our bread. our experience is over all positive. nice music playing in the background to take you back in time... the owner was kind enough to offer us tea and a local desert. enjoy your meal and the street view from 1. floor.
