It was the right decision to go to Arzava for dinner. Though there is yet no menu in English (restaurant is very new), the very friendly staff showed us fish (fresh) and tried to explain what is what. We ordered two kinds of lake fish and they were delicious (!), big portions. Also we tried a rice pudding for desert and it was very tasty. Water, bread with spreads were as a welcome and free. Nice interior and music. The place is highly recommended.

Situated in the town square opposite the Hizir Bey Camii (old Selcuk mosque) the Sonmez is popular with locals and visitors alike. We visited twice on our return visit to Egirdir, everything is freshly cooked to order, the lentil soup and pides are very good and the prices very reasonable for a typical lokanta. Service is good, helpful and friendly, English is spoken.

As recommended by the owner of the pension we were staying at, we visited Melodi restaurant.This establishment is located on YeÅilada, and offers a nice view of the lake (EÄirdir Gölü).We ordered the lake fish, which was served with half a boiled potato, a few leafs of rucola and some slices of tomato; if you are hungry, do order more! The fish itself was so-so. It certainly was fresh, but lacked distinctive taste.Service was ok, and the price was reasonable (70TL or â¬30 for 3 main courses, 1 starter, salad and non-alcoholic beverages).

There are a million kebab places in Egirdir, but this is a very nice one. A real added benefit is that they serve a real breakfast, with eggs! Not that easy to find in Turkey outside of hotel provided breakfasts

This "yurt" on the top of the mountain has a magnificent view to Egirdir town and Egirdir lake..Worth of driving up the zigzag road even just to see the view even they have decent "gözleme" pancakes done on the premises.

Wanted to eat but our Turkish isn't good. Trip advisor says this is no 2. And it was the nearest to our hotel. No menu. Pick your meal from what's on show. I had beef stew with rice and saute potatoes. Really really tasty . Beef just flaked in the mouth. Rice excellent. Taters lovely. Great salad with it all. Easily best meal I have eaten out in Turkey

The Lake Egirdir is the fourth biggest lake in Turkey. Since the lake is an important sweet water reservoir, the area around the lake is under the environmental conservation. The hill where the nomadic tend (Yoruk Konagi) located is overlooking the lake. In terms of scenic view and authentic features (presenting the nomadic Turks life features), I recommend you to visit the hill and and the tent café. If you are a nature lover and adnevturer traveller, I strongly recommend you to visit there.
