A typical Turkish restaurant, with most of the usual dishes to be found in such place. There is nothing fantastic to be noted, and nothing that goes wrong. So, it is an enjoyable experience, if one looks for variation, and good value for money.

We got here one evening exhausted and hungry ( me, my dear wife and daughter (12YO))The service was great, just like the best restaurants in Istanbul! The place is nice and cozy, feels warm and relaxing, the waiters are always willing to recommend and explain the menu, and the way the food is prepared, we loved that. So if itâs your first time in a Turkish restaurant, you wonât feel uncomfortable and scared because you might order who knows what and not enjoy the meal. The owner in person comes and talks to the customers and explains stuff, just like a friend that invited you to his house.... You are welcomed with a variety of salads and sauces and stuff specific to the restaurant ( humus, and so on, I donât know the names;) and special bread to put the stuff on and eat it... this food is on the house!!!I think itâs called the âCompletâ , I may be wrong..Then the food weâve ordered came.... two giant pieces of beef and 4 kinds of side dishes on a giant platter... lamb shush kebab, and chicken skewers, everything prepared on charcoal grill I think... maybe they used wood..Perfect! The desert was also good.We were so full we left some in the plate...For all that food, a glass of raki , a beer and and a glass of orange juice and lots of warm traditional bread weâve paid exactly 30â¬!! Fantastic They also serve soups. Thanks a lot for your kind review. We really appreciate it, and will be glad to see you again in our restaurant.Best regards...

The establishment is located in the old town of Constanta. It has about 10-15 tables indoor and some sort of terrace with about 6 more tables. Smoking is allowed on the terrace.Design is simple with some turkish ifluence.Menu is focused on traditional dishes, each one very well executed. In my opinion a bit more sauce won't hurt, but if you ask the staff they will give you extra without overcharging.Don't forget to try coffee on sand and Airan.Good to visit.
Environment: clean, there's only one table with 4 chairs if you want to eat in, assuming the size of the place it's mainly serving takeouts. There's an open window to the kitchen where you can see the making of the desserts.Staff: friendlyPayment: I paid cash, not sure if they take cards (I didn't see a card machine there either)Location: about 5 minutes walk from Gara (you have to take the underpass to go to the other side if the road)Price: Cheap to moderate (they count by gram)Food: There's various kind of Turkish dessert; baklava, kadaif, fistic roll and many other I can't name. These are all made fresh almost daily. There's Turkish soft drinks and beverages as well as ice cream sold there. My plate had 8 pieces of various kind of desserts and I paid 11 RON for it.I ate only 4 pieces and left with the impression of being sugar drunk. Taste wise = amazing! I love the fistic roll (pistachio roll; green colored).Such a hidden gem for foodie! P/S: My Turkish friends told me that the restaurant sourced other baklava places in town.Do check out an image I post for this place to get the idea of the heavenly dessert.

Let's start with the good things--prices are affordable, although food can be kind of unequal, some dishes were tasty, while others lacked any flavor. For example, the tabbouleh had no salt and no lemon juice and was chock full of parsley, but contained no mint and hardly any bulgur wheat. Service was ok, not great, but not bad either. That was until the chandelier literally fell on top of us. It was a traditional Turkish chandelier, with six heavy spheres of heavy mosaic glass, three of which landed on top of us, barely missing our heads. Had the globes hit us, we would have surely ended up in the hospital! We jumped up from our chairs and looked on in shock. The staff gathered around us, but made no attempt to check if we were ok or to apologize for what happened; they just stood quietly, as if watching a show. We proceeded to clean up our clothes the best we could, while the staff again made no attempt to help. You can see in the picture a waiter removing one of the globes from the table, with a matter-of-fact, even smirking face, as if nothing had happened. After this incident, they moved us to another table, where we finished our meal. When we were done, they just presented us the bill. They didn't offer anything on the house, not even the bottle of water we had ordered. The whole bill was under $60 for 5 people, so really nothing in terms of money, but a small gesture on their part would have meant a lot to us after this scary incident. On our way out, I mentioned how disappointed I was with their reaction and attitude to one the more senior staff. He had a boy run out after us with what we assumed were a few baklavas in a plastic bag, but it was too late, we refused politely and left. I would have given them 1 star, if it wasn't for the acceptable food and affordable prices. Just make sure you don't sit under a chandelier :-)
