We were looking for a post movie restaurant and wanted something we hadn't tried before. TA came to the rescue with this little beauty. Tucked away on Station street it's not large but sure has excellent food. We arrived early - 6:00pm and enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. We started with the entree specials Salt n Chilli calamari and the prawn in betel leaf - excellent. Mains were Choo Chee Barramundi, Sizzling Duck and Hoi Sin sauce Beef, all were delicious! The Barra was the dish for me as it was crispy and perfectly sauced - very yummy. Not licensed so BYO and surprisingly we didn't hear a single train go past! We will definitely be back!

A neat little Thai restaurant nestled in the Fox Valley Shops. Had I not had the misfortune of ending up in the Hospital, I would not have known about this little restaurant. The menu is reasonably extensive and includes my favourite (Mee Grob) which sadly does not appear on many menus. There are a host of lunch specials and due to the location, is reasonably quiet. There is a surcharge on dishes containing prawns (maybe time to update the menu price).
This has been a very popular restaurant for Thornleigh residents since its opening and we have had quite a few very pleasant meals there with friends from small group (four) to 10 and 12 persons. The excellent food is is always served with that wonderful Thai politeness and nothing is too much trouble to meet customer requests.

If your first priority is good Thai food then this is worth considering. The food is great especially the chilli fish and the prawns and fish with ginger and lime, and I could continue listing the rest of the menu. They are small probably seating up to 40 people and can be a little noisy, but the staff are friendly and efficient. If you want to do take away it's available. It is not budget, but it's worth it for the quality of the food. Cheers

La Thai is still as charming as ever and even though Toom has left, the service is still great and the Thai food gorgeous. Plenty of parking because it is in a backstreet

Went here for dinner with 3 people. The restaurant itself is nicely designed although a lot smaller than you think. The menu is quite extensive and the prices are cheap compared to other restaurants in the area. The crispy chicken cashew was tasty, and although not very crispy it was still nice. The black pepper beef was good as well. Portion sizes are good. The service let this place down a little, they are kind but take your plates away way to fast, we werent even finished with a dish but they already tried to take it away.Overall, good food with good prices. I will be back.

Havent been to Tung Tong for a while and when the AMEX had Tung Tong in their small business program, thought a revisit would be nice. The updated menu was a nice surprise and the choices now very well illustrated and that prompt ordering dishes that we have not ordered before. The dishes are first class - their signature Tung Tong Rung curry was spicy and very aromatic. The whole fish deep fried in curry paste was another dish that we decided to try and were not disappointed. The usual Beef Thai salad and Fish Cake, consistently high quality and delicious. The dishes are well priced and generous plate - we were very satisfied!!

We stayed at thecIbis, a short walk away, so decided to try this restaurant after checking out the menu. Very extensive menu with quite a few different dishes. Very reasonably priced, minimal corkage for BYO, and good service from the young Nepalese and Sri Lankan staff. And the food was delicious. Beautifully prepared and presented. Definitely worth a return visit.

This is always a favourite go to place for Sunday lunch. Food is good, fast service and the wait staff always friendly and try to fit you in. They have a good lunch special deal available even on weekends. The Seat is comfortable and cosy. It's very popular and best book if you are trying to dine for dinner on the weekends.
