Being Asians, had Chinese food cravings midway through our trip and this restaurant certainly did not disappoint. The owner could not speak English though and there was no English menu so we had to pretty much guess to order. Not exactly cheap but a 23 euro set gets you a soup, dumpling, meat, rice and dessert.

We were 12 people including kids on New Year's Eve. The owner didn't insist on a fixed menu. The owner managed to arrange a big table in this small but nicely decorated restaurant. He was very patient and efficient and recommended the best dishes suitable for everyone. Most dishes were very good and some even excellent. The price was reasonable. Everything was clean. We enjoyed ourselves a lot!

We had had a disappointing morning trying to find a place to park on the Swiss side of the lake and came across Saint Gingolph, the first stop on the French side. It was now late for lunch. the town is small with just a few restaurants. We wandered up and down the main street and decided we might go into the Chinese one. However, they were full and although there was a table, we were told we would have to wait at least half an hour for our meal. We crossed the road to this Thai one. We were greeted warmly even though it was late for lunch although their sign said until 3.p.m. It was quite full and two lots of people arriving after us were told it was too late. Our meal was served promptly and all three courses were absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the toilet clean and positioned on the same floor as the restaurant tables and the view of the lake was magnificent. We weren't rushed and felt very refreshed and a sense of well-being after we finished. We noticed that there were regulars so it is a popular place. Well worth a visit.

Great experience: excellent service and menu with fresh ingredients and genuine Thai dishes with Thais in the kitchen. Not a cheap place but worth it.
A friend had been told about this kiosk/hut and having finished off a day of heavy week, we were in need of sustenance for around 10 people. Not knowing what people wanted, we ordered 2 of everything (the menu choice isn't a long list) and were told that we'd need to wait st least 1/2 an hour. This is probably due to the fact that there are a few seated places outside and those people needed to be catered for as well. So we sat down and had a beer.Just as the 1/2 hour was finishing, we were summoned to the counter and the food was waiting for us to take away. Now I'll be honest here, by the time we got back to the chalet, dusk had already descended and so it was difficult to determine what was what by view alone. We were eating outside so we just got on with it.Simply put and in all honesty, the food was amazing (whatever it was). Very high quality and for that reason, I shall be going back next time in the area, albeit at an earlier time.Price wise? Par for the course. â¬5 for a starter and around â¬10 for a main.Nice discovery and worth a visit!

My friends and I decided to cross the lake for dinner and we were definitely not disappointed.Unlike Switzerland, authenticity actually means something on Evian. Le Tuk-Tuk brings you delicious and authentic Thai cuisine with perfect portions. Highly recommend the Pad Thai!
