...because you won't find it. After passing back and forth, we realized that the sign did NOT say "East West Café," but, instead said something like "Thai Food." Once inside, we were about the only people in the place and the service was just OK, but I was blown away by the crepe. Absolutely delicious, and unlike anything I've ever had. This is a strange combination of location, décor, service, and food...but the food's worth it.

We opened our doors in 1989 as one of the first Thai restaurants in West Broward. We are a small and very humble family restaurant serving our own family's recipes of traditional Thai food. We take the extra time to create all our dishes from scratch, han
For more than two decades our family has loved THAI THAI. We brought people from all over here and never recall having a bad meal. Until tonight. Once impeccable service- tonight even getting water served and refilled had to be requested- when the restaurant was not busy. The quality of the Mexican roll was not particularly good. A bowl of brown rice ordered for the main course was originally brought BEFORE the appetizer (!?!?!) and when the main course was brought- No brown rice. The panang curry (normally served in a bowl with delicious sauce) was served instead in a flat plate with very little sauce. My wife's order was mistaken (misunderstood?) . . . . and for the first time ever- we just asked for the check before eating our main course. The owner's daughter (sweet) was very apologetic and explained her mom turned the restaurant over to new mgmt. I hope they bring back the old staff or take strong measures to fix this MISmanagement. What a shame to lose a neighborhood jewel.

Attractive and pleasant ambiance. Lots of menu choices. I got a chicken with veggies entrée in a brown sauce and with white rice. Very tasty. It also came with a small salad, which was good. The meal, at eight dollars before tax and tip, was a steal. It must have been a lunch special.

The lunch meal of chicken curry with veggies was very tasty. But there wasn't much of it. I figure that there should have been twice as much of it. I guess the lunch portion was reduced concomitantly with the price. This entrée came with a scoop of plain, bland white rice. The meal was accompanied by a small salad of lettuce and shredded carrot with dressing. I like more ingredients than two in a salad. I'd also like larger portions of the lunch entrée. Attractive and pleasant ambiance. My rating is actually a 3 1/2.

Celebrating my daughter and my birthday, we came to this restaurant and it was the best option. Food is delicious, the restaurant is nice inside, the service is good. My daughters and my mom ate sushi, I ate noodles. Everything was good.

I find that Thai restaurants are as different from each other as the cookie-cutter Chinese tend to be identical. Every place is subtly...or not so subtly...different, even on the same dishes. This is A Good Thing.Thai Meal is one of the best locally. Visited twice recently, both for lunch, and found both experiences delightful. My wife had the Tom Kai soup, with the most delicious, complex, broth. The second time she had Beef Salad, spiced sliced beef on a regular salad but with lots of subtle spices, rice vinegar, and the like. I had Massaman Curry my first time--heavy on sweet potato, Tofu (my choice--you can get it with chicken, pork, beef, or shrimp), and cashews--a light but complex and delicious broth. The second time I had a tofu eggplant curry that was superb--the eggplant chunks had been cooked, presumably over a flame, so the inside was soft, the outside crispy. Done perfectly! Appetizers were conventional--pot stickers once, then spring rolls, but they were delicious.Service is superb--attentive and friendly, but not intrusive, and responsive when I asked the AC to be turned higher. They have a huge menu with lots of vegan selections, should you prefer that. This will be a regular spot for us.
