As with many coffee houses/ restaurants here, great coffee, great cakes, a good range of food, the staff are very attentive, but not in your face, immaculately presented, quiet background music, ground floor, and upstairs, good toilet facilities, good car parking, easy access (but no wheelchair ramp) English not spoken (but that is the fun part) charming.
Been there 3 people for lunch. Ordered lamb chops (NZ lamp), even on the menu, not available. Ok, this can happen with imported food. Then ordered a ordinary pork chop (same as my wife). As two of us got their food, I had to wait because of the not available lamp chops. Finally they served a dish to me as well (the other two been eating for a while already), but sorry, I didn't order that. Turns out, wrong table.... (only 3 tables with guests!)What do you order? Pork chop. oh, I'll check. Never come back, never got any food. They simply forgot it! Later they ask, you still want it? I said No. 3 people come in for eat TOGETHER. Not I get my food after everybody is finished already! When the bill arrived, the bill was for all food, even the never delivered ones.Had to talk and explain. I know, mistakes can happen, but the point is, how to handle it. The minimum one would expect is the offer of a free coffee or something, but that's too much to ask.Sorry, they lost some money as we been there for a week, past the Restaurant every day and would normally go in every day, at least for a coffee or a cake.
If anyone looking for delicious food. The hotel has a main restaurant, Sunrice Restaurant. The main menu, pizza, pasta, etc. is carefully cooked by the professional chef, and if you want a good atmosphere for a hangout, we recommend PoolBar. Talk to a gro
Itâs nice to have a new hip place in this small town. Restaurant by the pool is a cool idea. Food is okay, price is not that expensive . it has a mix of cuisine, Thai and western. Also has imported beer at reasonable price.
This my my little home away from home. The atmosphere is comfortable and cool. The food and pastries are tasty and the staff and very friendly and helpful.
