The Thai Kitchen is relatively new addition to the local Asian food scene in Palmerston North, and we were very impressed with the service and quality of food.The waitress was friendly, courteous and attentive. The food was uniformly excellent, and we will certainly be visiting here again.

Such a lovely polite waitress who took care of us the entire time even right down to making sure our glass of water was always full. The food came out quickly and presented so well! Great attention to deta. It was so delicious and everyone in my family loved what they had. I am vegetarian and there were several dishes that catered to that as well as being able to substitute meat for veges or tofu. Thanks for a great meal! Will return for sure

First time here!!We ordered fish curry, tasteless and was super sweet so we did not eat it at the end then we ordered seafood Tom yum and was very tasteless. Reasonable price but food was not good.Definitely we are not going back if we are visiting again in Palmerston:(

Palmerston North has a number of Thai restaurants to choose from and I wouldnât return here. I had a roti with peanut sauce. The roti was dry and seemed over cooked and tough. The peanut sauce was delicious. My Thai beef salad had an unusual thick tomato sauce poured all over it. The salad was mainly chopped lettuce, red onion and tomato. There were no bean sprouts, cucumber or herbs in the salad. The large chunks of warm beef on top were gristly and portly presented. Overall this was a disappointing meal.Thank you for your comment. I have eaten here before and really enjoyed the food and ambience. Good range of choices on the menu and adequate wine list. This time it was takeaways which were quickly produced, despite a queue. Very tasty and good sized portions, reasonably priced. Restaurant is very clean and staff are obliging.

Came for an early dinner on Saturday evening, service was fast and pleasant.Sadly both the meal was average.Have eaten here in the past and always had a lovely meals but tonight's dinner was a major disappointment. We won't be returning

Thai House Express is my go to choice for Thai food in Palmerston North. Never disappointed! I usually go for the green curry which is always delicious. Even when it's busy (which is often!) the food is ready in no time, and always tastes fresh. Definitely recommend

Went here to the Palmerston North Branch last night, have been here previous time before with not many issues. But this time was the last and final time we will go here!!!My Husband went up to the counter and ordered a iced mocha for him and an iced chocolate for me as we have done the last times we were there, i ordered the Satay noodles and he ordered the Mild Red Curry, one of the staff came over and gave us a iced coffee..??we said " is this an iced mocha" she said "" yes yes an iced coffee" and she then walked away.. confused and annoyed we then waited for another staff member to the bring us an iced mocha... we said" this order was meant to be an iced mocha and an iced chocolate" she took the coffee away and then the manager came over with the same iced iced coffee and said " this was the drink we ordered as she was right next to the girl who put this through for us at the counter (i was sitting at the table when this happened and she wasn't anywhere near the counter when this order was placed) SO SHE JUST LIED TO US TO GET OUT OF IT, we said " this order was meant to be an iced chocolate and and mocha as i am pregnant and am not drinking coffee" she then left and we eventually got the iced chocolate.When our mains were served to us when as a result or a coincidence of this issue my husband got a super spicy supposedly 'mild' red curry meal served to him and my meal came with 2 black hairs chucked in the mix... did not complete my meal to say the least. So all in all would you really trust this place if you had a issue with any wrong thing served as a result you'll get the staff tampering with your food. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACEHi I was with my staff when you made the order at the counter, one iced coffee and one iced mocha. We brought one iced mocha and iced coffee to your table. You refused to my staff that it is not iced coffee, it is supposed to be iced chocolate. I carried it back again to your table to see if my staff served the drink to the right person. Many times the staff served at the wrong table or some customers got the wrong items because they got someone to order for them. We usually change it for the customers if it is wrong. We have changed from Iced coffee to Iced chocolate for you as requested because your wife is pregnant and could not take any coffee as mentioned. We have changed from iced coffee to iced chocolate, not change from iced mocha to iced chocolate as mentioned in the story above. If the food contains any defect from our cooking, we will ask the customers to change to another dishes that they prefer with no extra cost or the same dishes and refund the money. If we knew the problem at that moment that you were at Chada Thai, we will address the problem immediately and refund your money. Beyond anything else, we would love to see the customers enjoy our Thai food with authentic taste that we are delivering in New Zealand. If you travel to Thailand before, you may realize that our cooking is very authentic and tasty with ingredients that available in New Zealand. We shipped most ingredients from Auckland to create the best Thai food in Palmerston North. We did not mean to destroy your valuable time to be at Chada Thai at all. Apologise for this hiccup and really wish to see you again with new coming member of your family. :)

We dined at Yeda on the recommendation of a friend, and werenât disappointed. The food was authentic, fast, and had good flavour. Definitely go fo some Kimchi. They also have a reasonable selection of GF available. Only suggestion would be a more extensive wine list, only having one Pinot Gris, and not available by the glass meant we had to buy a bottle.
