The food at Ying's is heaven! It really tasted like it does in Thailand. Very authentic and the curries are neither too mild and nor too hot. Definitely ask for the sharing platter as appetizer (not on the menu though). If you're a few people order different dishes so you can taste and try a few of them. Reasonable prizes.Ying, the owner of this small but spacious restaurant is very friendly and a great host.There are two terraces and the restaurant is located in the center of Neuhausen - close to Schaffhausen, and even closer (just a few minutes away) to the Rhine Falls.I'm definitely coming back.

I spent a night in Schaffhausen for business and found this recommendation through TripAdvisor since it was close to the hotel I stayed in (too cold and rainy to venture walking further).Informal atmosphere, sports bar-like, with darts and young locals. I ate at the bar Thai rice with shrimp. Amazing surprise! it was really well prepared, tasty with a great balance; have to say way better than in many "formal" Thai restaurants I've tried in Europe.Quite friendly staff makes an overall great experience.Excellent price-quality test.Highly recommended.

The restaurant is very good located, near the center and the river. It has a little terrace with four tables and it is quite small inside as well, but the staff is really nice and always helpful. We've been there many times, just in couple, with our baby or with friends: always a success and always full. We've had very typical Thai dishes, pad thai, soups or curries, and all of them just delicious and well cooked. Portions are also generous.

Food is average. Service is average. Decent central location makes it attractive. Satay is ok, salad a bit too sour even by Thai standards. Curries and other entries are quite good. If you're in old town looking for a quick "in-out" Thai dinner, this does it, as do a couple of the other Thai places in town. If you're looking a more authentic, elaborate Thai affair, head to Nam's by Munot while it's still around.
