Chilli & Basil Thai offer a range of traditional Thai & Asian inspired meals including noodle & rice dishes, seafood specialties, vegetarian & gluten free options, each inspired by the local cuisines of Thailand.
We have been a few times now and each time it has met our expectations. The $10 lunch menu is amazing value. I personally like a bit of heat and they offer four types of chilli to put in. This is presented to you once the meal is served and great you can choose rather than them guess. They as a business have to cater to different taste buds to keep going and they do this well

After considering this restaurant a must on our yearly visits to the Gold Coast we were very disappointed this year. Management appear to have changed and with it everything else. It is still very busy but the staff are no where near as friendly or cooperative. Added to that the kitchen closes at 8.30pm with no warning and they will not even take orders for dessert after thatWill give it a miss next year

A great restaurant run and owned by a great hard working lady. Delicious authentic Thai food cooked to perfection. A must to visit - and won't break your budget.

Having visited Thailand many times, I was surprised to be served quality food from such a hidden Gem.On arrival we were served some complimentary Prawn Crackers whilst we perused the menu. The three of us shared all our courses. We started with a serving of Spring Rolls, Satay Chicken and Coconut Prawns. All entrées were delicious and hot. The Satays and Prawns were huge. For our shared mains were ordered Prawn Pad Thai, Garlic and Pepper Prawns and Sweet and Sour Pork. All the mains were large so we had a little left over of each dish at completion of our dinner. I find that the noodles of Pad Thai are a refreshing change from Rice.Between us we consumed some 4 Singha Beers and a glass of wine. The bill came to $111.00 which I thought was reasonable considering the quality and quantity of food. We obviously couldn't fit in desert.Thank you Wasdee. I will definitely add this to my Resturant list next time in QLD.

We had the most delicious meal. Everything we ordered was delicious. We arrived without a booking with 3 Mums and 6 kids. They were absolutely so accommodating, offering plastic plates and cups for all the kids. We took up half the inside of the restaurant and the guy was lovely to the children. We canât wait to go again.

They have a very small restaurant and small kitchen, it's not very busy so you would expect quick food and good service. Not getting either and the food was just average, special deals for lunch and dinner give you the option of trying several dishes. Would probably not recommended as it is expensive for what you get.
