Things to do in Merced
We had a small birthday celebration among 4 friends. I found the restaurant to be very clean. Although it was small, it provided a "cozy intimate feel". There was ample parking. It's located in a small strip mall. Some of the businesses were closed during evening hours, which provided for parking right in front of the restaurant. The service was excellent with just enough attention when we needed it. Between the 4 of us we each ordered something differen,t and then we all shared. The menu was extensive and it also had several photographs displaying the various food orders. We ordered: Green curry with noodles, Fried rice with pineapple, Thai Pad, and Chicken with cashews. We topped off the evening with a dish of Green Tea ice cream! It actually turned out rather good! For the 4 of us the bill came to only $45 which I felt was a very reasonable price. Also, the restroom was very clean and spacious.
I have eaten here a number of times with my last visit in November while passing through Merced. This is some of the best Thai food I have had any where. This family owned restaurant is quite small with little atmosphere and in a non descript strip mall. The people that work here are nice, service is always good and prompt, portions are good sized and prices are reasonable. I have liked every dish I have had here. Some of my favorites are the Pad Thai, any of the Thai curries, vegetarian stir fries and the Papaya Salad. It was here I was introduced to the papaya salad which I find so delicious and rather addicting, something I order each time I am here. I have eaten here with co-workers and my husband and everyone likes the food and we haven't had a bad dish. I am giving this restaurant 5 stars, not because it is a gourmet place with fancy food, but because I haven't in my travels had Thai food any better than this. Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed!

My friends and I really like this restaurant and keep coming back here. We all have our favorite dishes. They always turn out delicious! The veggies have just the right crunch, and the sauces are wonderful. Thereâs usually enough to take home for a second meal. It tends to get quite busy here. The staff is up to the task, friendly and efficient. Definitely recommended!

It's a small restaurant that many locals enjoy - a bit like a Merced secret. The food selection and quality has been consistently good, the portions large, the price fine, and the service usually excellent the dozen times I've been. Neither the building nor the decor will impress you, but the food and service should make you happy. Vegans can eat there, too, as they have no problem adjusting ingredients. Unusual fact: don't be surprised to hear Country & Western music there instead of something traditional.

I always go here for thai food. They are really friendly. Their prices on food is inexpensive compared to other restaurant. I love the beef pho, pad thai, chicken larb, spring rolls, and calamari there. I recommend for anyone who is new to this place to try. You'll love it!

We've Been Around For A Long Time Making Great Food. Sam Is Great!
Parking is often difficult but the food is very good. I make it a point to eat there before dark so I can maneuver through the very small parking lot without hitting another vehicle. Nice staff and the owner is often in house.
