Reviews on Thai food in Limerick, Province of Munster, Ireland. There once was an Irish city… You might think "naughty poem" when you hear the word Limerick, but in truth the city inspires so much more than just knowing giggles. Medieval castles and churches give the city a grand feel, while the pubs crawl with lively locals and students who are all craving just one more pint of Guinness. The Hunt Museum boasts a collection of pieces from history's most important and influential artists, while the Foynes Flying Boat Museum will marvel visitors of all ages with its whimsical flying machines.

We are regular visitors to Camile Thai as the food is great and the staff are always very nice. We are there at least twice a week mainly take away or sometimes when we get a chance, a sit in meal to meet with friends. Tonight my friend and I (both female) went for a meal and one of us had 2 glasses of wine, we have alot of things going on and work fulltime and have children so when one of us went back up to order another glass. The person at the counter (I believe he is a manager he is always there and I have always thought he was very helpful and polite). He said "you want another one?" Obviously I thought it was a joke and laughed said "not judging at all are you" he gave me a very stern look, so stupidly I explained I dont go out very often I have kids and I am glad of a night out. He still sternly looked at me. He brought down the wine and then proceeded to bang chairs and sweep and look towards us. This was 9.30 PM...closing wasnt until 11pm. I am just so so offended that someone feels they have the authority to judge someone when they have no idea what is going on in a person's life. Well, thank you for the past custom but after tonight I won't be back and will no longer recommend Camile Thai to anyone.Hi IvyHolly31,Thank you for your comment and my sincerest apologies to hear about this issue. Food was lovely, same as all the other chains of Lana around the place. I had the three seasoning, really nice. The staff were lovely. Food was served fast. However, it was served to us in take away containers, despite the fact that we were sitting in. I was really disappointed. This practice is needlessly wasteful and not sustainable or eco-conscious. I don't understand it. It is easier and cheaper for the company to serve it in the ceramic bowls that are waiting on the table for us to transfer the food into anyway... Mind boggles. I have eaten in Lana Castlebar and in Limerick city centre... Neither place do this. Serving the food like this also seriously reduces the portion sizes, however that's not really a concern, just an observation.. I did try to mention the take away containers, but got a muted, unsatisfactory response! Just disappointing, so won't be back and can't recommend this place because of this.

Wednesday night last my son and I were in Limerick city and had 30 mins spare. We went into Lana for some food. The service was quick and very friendly. The food choices was fantastic. Order was taken and food served up with no delay. The cost of the two meals was very reasonable and I would highly recommend all to eat there.

An Authentic Thai And Indian Restaurant We served delicious food ,Pan to plate . We also offer Takeway and Delivery.
This is probably the most authentic Indian restaurant in Limerick. We had starters of onion bahgies and vegetable samosas. They were very tasty.Main courses of biryani chicken bhuna were equally as good. The staff were friendly and efficient and we had a lovely meal and it was great value.

The staff engage with you immediately on arrival. The menu selection is varied with a range of vegetarian, fish, prawn and chicken options and the staff have good knowledge of the dishes and possible variations.I go there regularly and it's always a pleasure, for the friendly reception, the food and the location. You must try the calamari. Alays flavoursome and perfectly al dente
