I wanted to love my visit to Sarong but sadly I was let down. The promotion material for Sarong claims influence from pan Asian cuisines but the flavours are predominantly what my western palate recognizes as Indian food. The Japanese and Thai style small dishes are a light fresh and luscious surprise but the mains were heavy, salty generic âcurry.â The decor is amazing but on a hot night and seated in an open pavillion on a plush velvet sofa, I was very uncomfortable. To add to our woes we found the service very austere and unfriendly. I suspect management was staff them to upsell the menu as we ended up with too much food, and a high billDear Gazeaway,Thank you for joining us and for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are pleased to hear that the decor and starters were to liking. However, we are very sorry to hear that the mains and service fell short of your expectations. We have passed on your comments to our team to work on further improvements for the future. Our team usually suggest sharing small plates to try out all the different flavours on our menu and that's entirely up to our guests to follow our recommendation or not. Thank you for sharing your feedback and for visiting us.All the best,Sarong team

Alleyway eatery in the midst of busy petitenget. We brought to you family recipes & original fusion creations from the Fat man of Fat Chow Bali.
A little dark inside, a little warm inside. Staff were good. Food doesnât come out at the same time. Example, ordered chicken skewers and the rice came out 5 minutes after. Thai green curry is good. Beer was cold! I only had one though. Kids liked it.What is with the questions on Trip adviser about sounds, Braille and comfort animals???

At Mamasan you can step into colonial Britain in Shanghai during the 1920s, with marble top mah-jong tables and oversized tan leather chesterï¬elds, in a purpose designed industrial high ceiling warehouse. Gaze up to Mama San in all her glory staring down
Met friends here earlier this month for dinner. The highlight like last year was the prawn and pomelo salad, so good that the girls ordered seconds. The soft shell crab was disappointing. Despite asking for the roti twice it did not appear. Tuna tataki was good. The Select Chardonnay was average. I just felt I was wanting more from this place, the girls were very happy but they agreed after eating at other places after this does not fufill its reputation.Dear GastroGaz,Thank you for sharing your review with us. Mama is pleased to hear that you enjoyed your prawn and pomelo salad and tuna tataki. However, we are very sorry to hear that the soft shell crab and wine fell short of your expectations and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention. Your comments have been shared with our team to ensure that we maintain our standards. Thank you again for sharing your feedback with us and we hope to welcome you back again soon. All the best,Mama
