We enjoyed Sunday dinner with our friends at this lovely Pan-Asian restaurant. Decorations and cleanliness are top drawer. Host and wait staff were excellent, courteous and attentive. I enjoyed three different Sushi rolls and also tasted some Shrimp and Vegetable Tempura. My meal came with a small salad and Miso Soup. Everything I had tasted delicious. I also ordered a side of the Spicy Mayo (excellent - don't miss it).Quantities are plentiful and the food is fresh and well prepared. The menu has Sushi, Sashimi, Tempura, Teriyaki, Thai Curry, Hibachi, Noodles and Rice dishes. Two at our table had the Noodle Soup Entrees that came with large noodle soup and an equally large portion of tempura (shrimp and veges). The restaurant is a BYOB.I highly recommend this restaurant for it's authentic and tasty food and great service.

Chose this small local restaurant after hearing many positive comments. Our group of 8 posed no problem to the staff. Although the menu offered many unique Thai specialties, we opted to use the Luncheon Special menu. Choice of appetizer and entree for 13.95 to 14.95. All our meals were served as ordered and together. Food was well prepared and certainly worth a return visit.

We are a family owned and operated restaurant serving Authentic Thai cuisine and Mesquite Smoked Barbecue.
We had the pleasure of dining at Ae's Thai & BBQ in Hazlet, NJ in October 2018. It is in a rather benign location, tucked in the Airport Plaza Shopping Center, but once you enter, you know you're in for something different, something real. Immediately, the staff was extremely kind and welcoming. The restaurant is clean, painted in rich, warm colors, and accented throughout with authentic Thai artwork. Authenticity is the key word when you dine at Ae's. We started our meal with a sampling of appetizers, including chicken satay, assorted dumplings, and spring rolls. Everything tasted distinct. The owner came out to briefly chat with us and let us know that everything is prepared fresh, including the meat in the dumplings, which is ground by hand each day. We then enjoyed the Tom Kah soup, Green Curry, and Pad See Ew. All we could keep saying was yum! Every dish was on point and served quickly. The Green Hurry leaves an awesome lingering heat. Thai Iced teas and mango sticky rice for dessert made for a perfectly rounded, wonderfully authentic Thai meal. We can't wait to return to try the BBQ!
