The former municipality Ilanz was congruent with the town Ilanz, which is known now as Ilanz/Glion, as of 1 January 2014. On 1 January 1978 the former municipality of Strada merged into the new municipality of Ilanz. On 1 January 2014 the municipality of Ilanz and the surrounding municipalities Castrisch, Ladir, Luven, Pitasch, Riein, Ruschein, Schnaus, Sevgein, Duvin, Pigniu, Rueun and Siat merged into the new municipality of "Ilanz/Glion."

We enjoyed one of the best Thai meals we've had in ages. No set menu, you just get whatever 2 or 3 course offering they've prepared for the day, so not great for picky eaters. But, my whole family, even the children, loved it. We paid 39chf for the adults, and 10chf for the children (plus drinks and dessert). The restaurant is run by a family, the Thai husband cooks and his wife runs the front. We got lucky and got a table with no reservation, but it was very busy, and reservations are recommended (she warned us for next time). Looking forward to eating here again next year for our ski holiday.

What a brilliant addition to the Waldhaus Hotel! The Thai food was authentic, flavourful and immaculately executed. We thoroughly enjoyed our starters (chicken satay, papaya salad, crab/pork patty, tuna salad and vegetable spring rolls). Flavours were bursting on our taste buds! For our mains we had the pad Thai noodles, a beef dish and the classic green chicken curry. Many congratulations to the chef and her team. We were pleasantly surprised when she came out to greet us after the meal. She was as sweet as the satay sauce!!!
