Reviews on Thai food in Gdansk, Pomerania Province, Poland. One of Poland’s most beautiful cities, Gdansk, on the Baltic Sea, has played major roles in history, especially in the 20th-century. It was the 1939 flash point of World War II, and then in 1980, the birthplace of the Solidarnosc labor movement, ushering the end of Communist domination in Eastern Europe. Gdansk’s Old Town, painstakingly reconstructed to its Hanseatic League glory after being leveled in World War II, is a highlight. The 14th-century Town Hall houses the city’s historical museum.

Uncompromising Thai Restaurant with great ambience. Serving authentic Thai cuisine based on top ingredients.
45 zl per meal puts this restaurant in the fine dining price range, so the food better live up to that. It didn't. I mean, it wasn't bad. A reasonable interpretation of Thai food. Not authentic. More poshed-up. The vegetarian green curry (one of the very few options for non-carnivores) was beautifully presented in a kind of thicker, deconstructed version. There was some really kick from the chillies but generally a dominance of thai basil and galangal unbalanced the flavour. Nice crispy tofu, though! Not so with my wife's vegetarian stir-fry. Tofu straight from the pack. Blobby and tasteless. If the prices were within the standard Polish range (around 30 zl for a main course), I would be more forgiving. But they aren't and I'm not.

Outstanding, but authentic dishes, top quality ingredients from around the globe, extremely talented head chef, and a crew of meticulously chosen cooks, from the finest restaurants in his country of origin. Thailand was never closer.
This is a great Thai food restaurant, especially for an Asian travelling in Gdansk. Tasty food with prompt service.Only annoying factor is a big fan in the centre of the restaurant that blows gusty wind and makes you uncomfortable, unlike a smooth wind of an air-conditioner.Must eat here, if you are in the vicinity of the area. Thank you very much for a feedback! We appreciate our Guests opinion and will for sure remember your advice.Hope to see you again!

As with many port cities, GdaÅsk has always been a cosmopolitan place, home to an array of different cultures and tastes. This Thai & Lao restaurant by the Motlawa River proves that this is still the case. Diners here get to enjoy authentic Oriental cuisi
The restaurant boasts a vast variety of great choices. The menus are beautifully crafted. The service was wonderful and the restaurant is child friendly. After our order was delayed we received some free cocktails. I had the Amok. It was tasty but not as good as I had in Siem Reap. The physical menu requires a mention. It was just stunning. There was beautifully drawn pictures of the cuisine.Thank you for writing your opinion. We are surprised by a fairly low rating, but we are glad that you liked everything and the service was great! :)

Nice selection of different dishes, amazing staff and delicious food! Vegetables in tempura with three different souces were light, fresh and delicious. Buns with pork were like grandmas homemade. They were delicious and filling. Crispy duck was good, but for my personal taste was too fat and there wasnât enough of taste. Calamari was good, but there was too much soy souce. Main courses came with side dishes, so it was a lot of food and we were not capable to finish everything, but thank you amazing staff who worked last night and served us, you were amazing! :)
