Ginger Thai, our "Ã la carte" restaurant welcomes guests in a splendid setting where the nobility of wood enriches the originality of the decorations, offers a traditional cuisine with spicy and acidulous dishes. The Chef, Karnsinee Thirapuncharoj, comes
Staying at Hilton Spa so decided to eat at the restaurant.Staff were very welcoming and atmosphere was lovely.Food was pleasant but we felt a little over priced. Worth a visit but know you will be paying a bit more for the pleasure. Thai green chicken curry was tasty as was the satay stater that I had. Nice little bbq chicken pre starter. Worth 3.5 stars !

I am a very passionate Thai/Asian food lover. I've been many times in asia, and 3 times for 1month each in Thailand visiting as a backpacker.. Got to tell you, we give this restaurant a shoot because we wanted to change a bit.. and obviously I didn't pretended to be a true Thai restaurant.. so I am judging mildly :)Anyway..It is quite overpriced respect the average mauritian restaurant (we ate local food every day for 14 days)Service is good and location is good.Quality of food: honestly Te general quality is not bad. Food is well cooked and there hasn't been problems but I was looking for a bit more flavours/spices/taste in general! I didn't expected it to be true Thai, but considering the local tendency of cooking curry I expected more spices, more taste!Plus there was some disequilibrium of spices in my soup. Not so much galangal and kaffir but a looooot lemongrass.Anyway it is an avarage restaurant and could be good starting point to approach Thai cuisine
