We decided to go for lunch. Richard and Petro had the salt and pepper calamari salad basket. They said it was delicious. I opted for a noodle dish which was mouth watering good. Stu had the chicken skewer board. Magnificent. Service always great. Great vibe and great food priced at R60 a person. Will be back.

Have been here a few times. Food is terrific. Great menu. Staff need to improve on their customer service. It's not pleasant being served by waiters who dislike their job. Have witnessed staff being rude to one another in the presence of customers. Food is over priced. Worth a visit nonetheless

Stumbled upon this restaurant whilst in search of some good sushi. We had an absolutely fantastic experience! The sushi was great and the service was excellent. We were provided with advice on our selection and encouraged to try the Green Mango signature sushi which did not disappoint. We will definitely be back!

Garden restaurant serving cafe style breakfasts and lunches and a South East Asian dinner menu.Day menu also available in the evenings.
We shared a Siam Calamari dish. The calamari was well cooked with a very tasty sauce. It is salty but with the pasta the balance was perfect.

Craving Thai so 6 of us headed out and found this little gem in Mackeurtan Ave, Durban North. Dont expect luxury seats more like benches but the food makes up for that and the atmosphere is great. We had starters Chicken spring rolls @ R68 Crispy Wontons@R68 and Salt and pepper calamari @ R78all perfect. The Spring rolls and wontons tasted just like we remember in Phuket and not at all oily. For mains we had 3x SW1 beach salads @R88 each These salads are served on top of crispy fried spinach, the salad itself is a mix of chicken prawn calamari veggies tossed in a chilli jam absolutely fantastic and large portions we took some home.I can recommend the Sweet basil and chilli Chicken @ R88 served with steamed rice but for and extra R 10 you can have it with noodles or egg fried rice I opted for the egg fried rice and the smell of the jasmine was fantastic.I did a cooking coarse in Phuket and this was one of the dishes taught. I would find it hard to tell the difference between a dish from Phuket and this one from the Wok Box. Then 2 of us had the Crispy Pork Belly the most expensive of all our dishes @ R130 it comes with fried bok choy and a choice of noodles or rice. These were again outstanding and recommended. The wine list is small but reasonable compared to competitors we had a bottle of Buitenverwachting Buiten Blanc @ R130.Local beer is available but unfortunately no Chang or Singha! There are the usual green/red massaman curries on the menu @R88 for chicken, pork and beef and R110 for prawn, also available are a range of wok fries from R78 to R110. What really makes this place is the owners Sean and Prem Beatt. Prem is from Thailand so she brings the genuine recipes with her and Sean has been involved in a few restaurants in Durban the famous one being the Bangkok wok! So it goes without saying or to coin a phrase "we will be back"
