As parking on the street is at a premium I found a spare park and Iâd spotted Kim Pun. I really felt like Thai food as Iâd had pasta at an Italian restaurant the night before and Veges were desired.I dined probably 6.45ish as a solo in town on business, the restaurant wasnât overly busy and when completed my meal, I was the last diner.Service - was prompted and efficient, though the waitresses I had (2) were Asian, they didnât speak Thai, as I thanked one in Thai and she didnât react / respond.Speed of receiving meal - was like lightning, like, Iâd just got my beer, checking social media and - boom, itâs arrived.Actually, I though it was too quick.Iâd ordered fried ginger with chicken and seasonal veggies, presentation was good, the amount of steamed rice was a tad on the light side. However, the meal was bland... their was no condiments on the table.e.g fish sauce, sugar, chillies... so I requested and received some chopped up fresh chillies. At least that gave it some zing.I ordered dessert which was deep fried banana spring rolls and ice cream, these were actually quite good, but they only provided a teaspoon eat it with.As you could imagine, an impossible task, so I took a fork off a neighbouring table. To see other reviews withâbest Thai everâ makes you wonder what exposure theyâve had to Thai food....And just for the record, we travel to Thailand on a frequent basis. There are other Thai restaurants in CHCH to try, so I doubt if Iâll return.

The food was very good, however the service wasn't good. The two young women serving gave the impression of being superior to others.

There are quite a few restaurants around the country doing the Asian fusion thing, and we've enjoyed a lot of them. But none compare to what we experienced last night. This restaurant is awesome, the food is amazing, and the service is friendly and professional. The quality of each dish was superb, and the serving size was also generous. Can not recommend highly enough, and can't wait to head back there on our next visit to Christchurch.

We came here quite often as this is our favourite restaurants to fine-dine Asian Fusion meals. The service is fantastic, the foods are amazing and the overall experience is something that always attract us to come back. The last one we were here was for the 'All You can Eat' dining experience, where you can order multiple deshes for a set price. They always surprise us with the innovation they do that was inspired from taditional Asian food.

We serve authentic Thai Street Food in Christchurch. Our dishes will transport you to Thailand with all authenticity and flavour that Thai food has. Come and join us for a full experience or order a takeaway and eat from the comfort of your home.
This is a popular Thai Restaurant, service is good, good selection of meals without it being overwhelming. Food was served promptly even though the tables were full. Staff were attentive without being intrusive. The crumbed squid starter was very generous, plenty to share between the two of us.

Visiting from Hamilton and family ordered a takeaway. We love Thai food but found this takeaway to be disappointing. The pad thai tasted stale and the flavors in the sweet and sour and chicken and cashews were strange and nothing like thai we have ever had either in Thailand or NZ. I'd try somewhere else. I don't do negative reviews lightly but this was warranted. Don't bother, I'm sure you could get better food elsewhere.
