Fast fun delicious and healthy
This PM, it is a short drive to Benjamin & Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center for Cameron Mackintoshâs production of Phantom of the Opera.I have learned decades ago to provide my wife with a list of ten dining options. Benjamin & Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center has a very nice on site restaurant, Citilites Restaurant & Bar; and, there are several nearby restaurants as well as the Oregon District.Dinner always merits a discussion with my wife, and she is in the mood for Potstickers and for Pad Kee Mow, and our destination is Nida Thai Cuisine.Nida Thai Cuisine provides an excellent menu, service, and Potstickers and Pad Kee Mow. Given our dress for Benjamin & Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center, we are both overdressed. However, my wife is singing and enjoying Thai dining.

Following a day of tennis at the Club, we elect China Dynasty for an early dinner.Among the many advantages of living in the greater Dayton Metropolitan area is a plethora of dining experiences, and China Dynasty offers Chinese, Thai, and Japanese dining, and does the three menus quite well.China Dynasty is borderline Five Star Dining, and we rate China Dynasty as a solid 4.5.Chef Steve and his wife, Sophia own, manage, and serve in this âmom and popâ Chinese restaurant. We are pleased to have a conversation with both Steve and Sophia.Ambience: Upscale white tablecloth, with a full bar, and a wall of windows.Service: FlawlessDining: Very impressive. We ordered from the dinner menu and selected the House Special: Spicy, Crispy Shrimp. The order seemed to consist of fresh very large prawns, and this dish is excellent. We highly recommend China Dynasty. The tariff is appropriate for the fare.

Met a friend here for lunch. I had a very good chicken Pad Thai and he had a Shrimp Drunken Noodle. Both were fresh and tasty, with just the right level of spice (level 2). Service was prompt and friendly. A bright, cheery restaurant in a non-descript strip mall in suburbia. Worth hunting down.
