For your Authentic Thai experience, you cannot go past IN 2 THAI, located just outside the busy Cairns CBD with plenty of parking nearby. No matter which dish you choose from the extensive menu you will experience Thai Cuisine at it's best. The chef, Tan,
Usually come for lunch with a mate and get the pad kee meow. Went with the wife for dinner and got several dishes. Always awesome flavour. I like it how they chop kafir lime leaves very fine and sprinkle over the dish.Always double the flavour of any other Thai food is n Cairns.

The Pad Thai is inauthentic. If you are looking for Pad Thai from Bangkok, you will be sorely disappointed. The taste is bland and has none of the typical Thai flavour of sweet, spicy, sour. This is Pad Thai customised for the local tastebuds.

I am allergic to soy, dairy, and gluten and the chef came out and talked to me and checked on me. I really appreciated that. I had chicken curry and my partner had the beef salad. We had tom yum soup and green papaya salad. All delicious and safe to eat. The ambiance is great too.

A group of us from work had dinner here recently. I ordered fried rice with vegetables, but there was hardly any vegetables. However, we also had pre-ordered their large snapper (fish, for $49.50) which was alright. The place is unpretentious ie basic, not fancy, food was generally tasty, located not far from the CBD and parking was easy as generally is in Cairns area BUT the place was extremely noisy, peopleâs voices were echoing off the walls, we were like almost shouting across the table to be heard, not sure why. This was the only drawback.

This is a busy place, and with good reason..... Authentic thai food, at reasonable prices. I felt like I was sitting in Bangkok having a meal. Nothing pretty about the place, it's functional, and serves great tasting thai food. Can highly recommend if visiting Cairns, and you need a thai food fix!

Very reasonable prices , fast and nice service, certainly not a restaurant, more like a typical Thai eatery somewhere in Bang Kong.

My partner and I have now been to this place three times in the spate of 3 months. We are extremely delighted with the location, ambience, friendly and efficient staff and owners, terrific food and very good prices. The fact that it allows BYO wine (only) is excellent for us. Corkage is very reasonable price. Congratulations are in order for this gem of an eating place. Bravo!!!

If you like the Gordon Ramsay style of cheffing with lots of Afro vibes from the Chef this is the place. The staff were all doing their best with a controlling, hostile boss. It was so awful it has taken 4 months to write the review because I suspect he would find a way to have it removed. The food was terrible... authenticity bad, home cooking. Plates of bean shoots and boiled chicken in a murky broth. Could not get out of there quick enough. No ambiance, had to ask for air conditioning to be put on on a sweltering, sticky, humid night. Dear El,We are not quite sure what you mean by "Affro vibes" as the chef/owner is actually a classically French-trained Philippino. Our small, loyal staff are treated very fairly by all management and if you believe you saw something unfriendly then that is a kitchen issue. The customer is not always aware of all the things that need to happen to get high quality food to our customers. Our 24 hour clear chicken broth is a very popular dish, it comes in a large bowl with a whole poached chicken Maryland atop a mound of wombok, beanshoots, dried garlic, spring onions, bok choy leaves and stems, definitely not murky. We strive to provide a peaceful enjoyable ambiance at all times. You mentioned you visited 4 months ago, while it was winter time, we don't usually run air conditioning in winter but will always accommodate for customers particular temperature requirements if at all possible. You must have been very disturbed to have chosen not to post your review for four months. In the future if you have issue with an establishment the best policy is to discuss your concerns immediately with management to give them a chance to rectify any problems.
