Seems like a popular spot. There were lights up for Christmas and lots of Santas which my daughter loved. It was simple inside but genuine which I liked. Nice settings. Food was very tasty. Price reasonable. Im not a vegan but first half of the lengthy menu was vegan with lots of options. Friendly staff. Will visit again when we come back to Burleigh

On a recent trip to the Gold Coast we scoped out Tripadvisor for a quality Thai restaurant. We chose Iyara based on the positive revues. The service is first class, cannot fault the service and not just from a single staff member, the service standard was high quality from all staff. But the food was disappointing. An entree of fried coconut prawns was not good. No flavour at all and almost tasteless. The main was not much better. The protein appeared to be cooked either before or after the source, it just had no flavour. but the sauce had banging flavour. It was great but it just didn't blend with the rest of the dish. It was a disappointing dinner experience. The flavour was certainly there in the sauces in the mains were very good, as was the service, but the food was a Flavour miss.

This was our 1st visit to Thai Puntip and we found a little gem, a rough gem but worth the visit. We sat outside and our streetside table was slightly angled and rocking, we requested a new table which they accommodated for us. After some time they came back and asked us what our order was again as it was lost.. Maybe due to the table change. For mains we ordered a grilled fish dish and duck curry. The curry was extra creamy just the way I like it. Both meals were excellent and generous portions. It's BYO and the bottle shop is just around the corner. Besides the wonky table, losing our order (for which they gave us a complementary entree) my only criticism is they do a lot of the home deliveries services. Bike rides with their esky backpacks are coming and going all the time. It seems they take priority over seated patrons. But that is only an observation. So would I go back? Absolutely! Good food, BYO, helpful staff and a nice setting. Enjoy

Dined here with friends for dinner on a Sunday evening. Food was delicious and fantastic value. Drinks were also very reasonable. Highly recommend for yummy Thai.
