Read the reviews on TripAdvisor and decided to try it out. We sat outdoors which was very nice. There was an artisan street fair in the midst of the outdoor sitting area. The weather was beautiful, sunny and dry. We chose the calamari appetizer which was delicious. The table next to us had the egg roll appetizer which looked delicious; so we ordered one. Somewhat disappointing, wasn't as crispy as we liked. My husband ordered the imperial palace salad which he found bland. I ordered the dragon noodles with tofu and I liked it. Our server Jasmine was friendly and efficient. Aside from the food which is the reason for the 3 circles rating, the experience was positive.

Thai Pepper has been our first choice for Dining in Ashland for more than 20 years. As of 1/1/2019 they have given up their lease on the Down-stairs and Creek-Side portions of the Restaurant. They are now Closed for Remodeling of the Up-stairs Bar Area which will not have the Atmosphere of the prior Venue. We hate to see it go!

We are in the Underground marketplace in Ashland at the corner of Third and Main St.
The food is very good authentic Thai; curries are fabulous and noodle dishes are excellent. We are not terribly fussy about atmosphere, but this is like eating the basement of a fraternity house. Seriously, there's usually a giant trash can and broom in the dining area, the plastic plants are dusty, there is a bar between the two dining areas stacked with plates, glasses, etc. - in case you need extra? - and the condiments are on a rickety card table by the cash register. We Love the food here, and there are few authentic ethnic restaurants in Ashland so we often gird ourselves and go anyway. But we would never take guests. The key here is Take-Out!

"Hidden gem just off the beaten path in Ashland".
You can't go wrong visiting House of Thai Cuisine. A regular on our dining circuit, one of the best Thai restaurants, anywhere! Very friendly staff, always greeted and seated promptly. Clean, pleasant atmosphere. The food is excellent, always prepared fresh and delivered to the table hot. Nice seasonings, not like many Thai restaurants where most dishes and sauces tend to taste the same. As is typical, they will prepare to your spicy/heat preference and tolerance. Have never had a bad meal. A must visit if you're into Thai food.
