If you wan't to eat a fondue, go there!Additionally to the great fondue, you get a perfect view in a beautiful place. It's reachable by car.
of the surrounding mountains! We sat on the terrace on a warm and sunny winter day and enjoyed the same. Unfortunately the service was very poor, that many guests was too much for that lady. We waited quite some time until we received the menue and the dessert was more or less average. The bathrooms were up-to date maybe in the 60ies or 70ies and the rest of the restaurant inside looks the same.
The restaurant located at Seminarhotel Römerturm, Kerenzerbergstrasse 104, 8757 Filzbach, Glarus, Switzerland. It was wonderful dinner. I ordered grill tiger prawn for starter. It was just perfect starter. The food was so delicious and the prawn has a good quality. I couldnât stop to eat it with the baguette, especially with the sauce was so yummy. My friend, Fransisca suggested me to try their Wienerschnitzel. It was a good recommendation because it is delicious. The French fries was so crunchy and delicious. They cooked perfectly the vegetables because it was still fresh and crunchy. One thing that made me happy, they gave me dried chili and it is spicy. Thank you Denise and Fransisca who recommend us this restaurant. Thank you Seminar Restaurant for wonderful and delicious food and especially for all the staff who gave us a good service. I will recommend this place to my family and friends.
Excellent tasty food, superb salad bar. Nice atmosphere and wonderful views from the terrace.. Very friendly staff who were happy to provide additional vegetarian meal that was not on the menue

Tiny farmhouse on the lake with a restaurant attached. Run by the third generation on the same family, Monika und Walter Zahner are really nice and friendly couple, everyone is welcome. Beautiful lakeside garden, simple yet tasty home cooking food. Hot smoked bacon is absolutely delicious!

A favourite stopover popular with locals and tourists alike. Open in summer, they are serving snacks and drinks to fortify the sailers, divers, hikers, and all passers-by. Lively place, nice and friendly service.

From Ziegelbruecke railway station a 35-minute stroll leads you along the Linth canal to Landgasthof Biasche, surrounded by the scenic Glarner Alps. Otherwise a bus stop is located close to the restaurant. The dining room is welcoming yet surprisingly small given the size of the house. Therefore I would recommend advance booking. Staff is efficient and helpful. The food is Swiss traditional - hearty and with focus on regional produce. As starter I had a simple mixed salad, which came out as a very nicely presented and generous portion. The main course was to die for: ''Ziger-Roesti'' i.e. Roesti topped with Schabziger (grated cheese with herbs - a Glarner specialty). This was one of the best Roesti I have ever tasted: generous portion of potatoes and cheese, nicely crispy without being greasy. Undoubtedly a highlight! For Swiss standards prices are surprisingly low: my two-course lunch including sparkling water and a glass of wine amounted to CHF45.

Paradiesli restaurant is beautifully located and has an amazing terrace with a view on the lake Walensee. The food did not fail to impress! The homemade asparagus soup was smooth and tasty, the salad fresh from their own garden located next to the restaurant. The mains were also perfectly prepared: the chicken with vegetable pizokal and the roasted veal steak. We actually wanted a dessert but our bellies were already too full A beautiful place for a romantic lunch or dinner!

We had a sensational lunch menu here. light breeze under a shaddow of a tree, view of the lake, well served fresh salad and local specialities really well made. Swiss made but with a taste and spark. A really nice alternartive to dull swiss menus. To be recommended. Check menu online if you like.Unfortunately, we were told that the lake access is not meant for the restaurant guests and only for hotel guest. i think this is fair enough.Dear Mr MaciejThank you very much for your excellent review and thank you for your time.We are very pleased that you enjoyed the visit and we could inspire you, which motivates us very much.We would be very pleased to welcome you back to Flyhof.Best regardsBurkhard Zerlauth

Restaurant Fischerstube is located at the shore of Walensee lake in Weesen. It is a beautiful classic restaurant with tradition and style. We went for the three course fish menu. First we received fried pike, then cod with black rice and whitefish which is the house specialty for good reasons: it was delicious! The dessert was another highlight: strawberry mousse with cherry sherbet and merengue.
