On Sundays it's not always easy to find a good restaurant for lunch, but this time it was amazing! Entering the restaurant we have seen the grill with natural wood and the choice was simple! Also the dessert was great!

Dans une ambiance atypique, venez déguster nos bons plats mijotés maison ! A consommer sans modérations !!
We had lunch here on a saturday. The waiter was very helpful and she spoke english well. The menu card was small but that usually means that the quality is higher. My husband had the tagliatelle with cabanara which was a nice simple meal. I had roastbeef with tartare and capers and fries. All of which was very tasty. You can also just come for a drink and some nibbles. Can highly recommend!
We just stopped here for a quick supper and greatly enjoyed our crêpe. Even though we were spending very little we were made very welcome. As with everything else in Le Locle, a working knowledge of French is very helpful!

There is a good choice of dishes produced with local ingredients. The staff are very friendly and there is a great choice of wine. Try out the Thursday evening buffets.

We had a perfect day with my family a great meal in a separate room with a marvelous meal and wonderful deserts. They were really friendly and we enjoyed our stay event if this was a rainy day. Restaurant du Saut-du-Doubs côté suisse à 10 minutes à pied de la célèbre chute de 27m. Accès en bateau au port des Brenets compagnie NLB.
We went there after visiting the waterfall. It was already 14:30 so it wasn't crowded. The service was fast and helpful. The fish was delicious. The scenery was wonderful as it is on the lakeside with views on the boats that come and go every 20 min and to people that go around the lake with paddle boats or canoe. Would definitely suggested it to everyone who visits "le saut-du doubs"

Full of locals for Sunday lunch, a good sign. Very nice salad paysanne followed by Steak de cheval avec frites, nice and crispy.

We dined at the cafe for our two day stay at the Inn of the same name. The food was fresh, perfectly prepared, and creative. I particularly appreciated the dairy free options (not so easy to find in Switzerland). The wait staff also gave us excellent and informed advice on wine pairings. This was, all four of us agreed, the best dining we enjoyed in Switzerland.

We came here because we wanted filets de perche, perch fillets, and we knew this particular restaurant served tasty ones. It's a small, simple place located at a sort of campground where vacationers can rent a small cabin-like structure that overlooks the Doubs River and isn't too far from the Saut du Doubs, a popular waterfall in the river. We started with a Croute aux Morilles that was outstanding. Then the sweet little perch fillets (Filets de Perches Meuniere) arrived, sizzling in their scrumptious butter sauce. We ordered a half portion and after the Croute aux Morilles, that was just enough for a satisfying lunch. The restaurant overlooks the Doubs River and on clear days it must be lovely, but we had clouds when we were there. The restaurant has walls of floor-to-ceiling glass windows and doors that open to an outdoor play area for children so their parents can sit indoors and keep an eye on their kids playing. The restaurant's menu was quite varied with salads, appetizers, pasta, horse meat, chicken, lamb, Swiss Rosti, beef, fish, frogs legs, shrimp, and cheese dishes. You're sure to find something you like, whether you eat anything or you're a vegetarian or gluten intolerant. After our lunch, we took a hike along the Swiss banks of the Doubs River (it's a bit dangerous in places) to help digest the filling and delicious lunch at the Bellevue. If you have time, it is a lovely hike in the woods.Bon Appétit!
