The restaurants in the Hotel Eiger are the Eiger Stubli, the Tachi Bar, The Eiger Saal and our terrace. From the Saal and terrace you enjoy a spectacular view over the famous mountains Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau. We mainly serve Swiss and French dishes. Fo
Totally overpriced and only average food. As entries, we were having a portion of melon and ham and a salad with hot goat cheese for CHF 18 each. As main dishes, a salad with roasted chicken and veal with noodles. The goat cheese salad and the salad with chicken (basically a Cesar salad) were ridiculously small and only average quality. The veal with noodles were ok from a quality stand point but also a small portion. Service was friendly and ok.

The Bergrestaurant Allmend has a familiar atmosphere up in the mountains. We serve traditional Swiss food and Thai specialities. Already now we are looking forward to welcoming you soon!
Were here for lunch on a Friday. The food was traditional Swiss style... We had Bratwurst with Rösti, which were tasty. Also the mixed salad was fresh and nice. We sat on the terrace, which was ok, but nothing really special... The guy taking orders tried his best, but he had far too many tables and guests to take care of, meaning long waiting times, even to get the drinks...

Our Swiss Chef Sylvain Stefanazzi Ogi offers a refined kitchen, with national classic sents inspired by mediteranian cuisine benefiting from his Italian roots. The cosy Restaurant 1903 all in old wood opens only in the evening, in summer these dishes are
I hardly know where to begin. From the moment we arrived by train in Wengen to our departure 8 days later, the service was always exceptional and genuine. We were picked up by cart promptly and luggage (skis included) transported to the hotel. Our room was as promised on hotels.com, balcony with mountain facing views - just exceptional and lovely to see the sun setting in the afternoon with a glass of wine when it wasn't snowing in picturesque Wengen. While the bathroom was very very small, the shower pressure was awesome and hot water ample which is appreciated when skiing. We overlooked this as Paul was gracious and upgraded our bed to a larger size than booked (we didn't ask for this, it was done prior to our arrival). The sheets are very comfortable, turn down service nightly and room was cleaned promptly every day without any issues! This location is superb. You can walk easily to the train and are right there with main street, just a 2-3 minute ski to the tram which opens at 8:15am should you so choose to be first on the lift. The breakfast was excellent and whatever coffee you like made to order. We ate in 1903 three times and the food was the best we had during our 10 days in Switzerland. The Creamy watercress soup â potato, dried meat was divine. I could have that for dinner every night. We both had Lamb carrée with herb crust â potato gratin, beans, thyme jus. The lamb was cooked perfectly (not easy to do in my opinion), the potatoes were so tasty. We both had this meal twice. I also had the Apple tart on rum cream twice and I wish I could replicate this at home. Any reservation we requested or info we needed, the staff provided. The sauna is beautiful and super clean. The decor of the rooms and restaurant is classic Swiss and you will not find better anywhere in Wengen is my guess. When it comes to the restaurant, I am perplexed how this is not rated #1 as we ate at many other places including Hotel Baren and the food, service and ambience didn't even come close to 1903.On the day of departure, the porter came on early so he could transport our bags and skis to catch the 7:03am train on a day of heavy snow. Of course, he was there right on time and had our skis all loaded prior to us adding the other bags. The entire staff was always friendly and professional. If you are going to Wengen, this is the place to stay and eat and relax. Thank you Paul and team for making our trip exceptional. I hope we can come back someday to this beautiful valley and we would always choose to stay with you.Thank you very much !We all are looking forward to wellcome you again at the Schönegg in Wengen.Best regards Paul

We spent 3 weeks in France, Italy and Switzerland. Of those, our expectations for food were relatively low (although the views are the best) in Switzerland. However, we found Restaurant Caprice was very good and the view spectacular. It's not overly fancy by any means, but it's also not super heavy and overly sauced up either (which is a good thing). Frankly, between our experiences in Lucerne and the Jungfrau region - it was the best dinner we had. We would most definitely return.

This restaurant is located next to the cable car station and across from the train station, but you must walk up a short hill to the Hotel Silberhorn to reach it. The restaurant was without a doubt the best one we ate in while in Lauterbrunnen although al
Although we've holidayed in Lauterbrunnen twice before we hadn't visited this restaurant before. There are cheaper places but the food here is much higher quality than other places. We had lovely homemade soup with trout and pizza for main. All their pizzas are cooked in wood fired oven. Try the gourmet coffee dessert. It's a 3 mini desserts selection. Scrumptious.

The hotel Oberland's restaurant is located in the centre of the village just an easy 5 minute walk from the train station. We are open daily from 11.30 am to the evening. Our menu has everything from soups, snacks and salads, pizzas, pasta, meat and fish
This restaurant is a must do but in season you need to book. The food was really good and the service the most friendly we experienced in the valley. A couple of places charge for tap water even if you drink other drinks but this restaurant sensibly states if you order drinks tap water is free. Such a simple thing.

Tonight we selected Restaurant Baren for our dinner and we were extremely pleased. The wait staff was super pleasant and answered all if questions.since we are both vegetarians they suggested a salad, a spatzel with vegetables and chestnuts and a mushroom sauce, and a special curry falafel dish which we loved. We shared all of our selections and added a glass of white Swiss wine for each of us. We thought that our meal, the ambiance and the staff was one the best that we had experienced in Switzerland and may return for a second go around tomorrow evening. Dear Guest Thank you very much for your review and for choosing our restaurant. Our service and kitchen team are for sure happy to read about your kind words. That`s how we get motivated to get a bit better every day. We hope to see you soon! Willy & Therese Brunner and your Bären-Team

Typical Swiss Restaurant Famous for the traditional Swiss Cheese Fondue and the Roesti. Steaks, Pasta, Pizza, Salads, Sweets and Coffee.
Definitely worth the trip from town, for a wonderful meal, priced better than most of the country. We had the Traditional Rosti with pork and mushrooms, and the raclette. Delicious! Then we took the recommendation of fellow TA members and had the apple rings for dessert. Yum!
