Cosy restaurant. The ambient is very agreeable, soft light. It offers cheese, meats and chocolate fondue and a very hones wine list. The service is excellent, always alert to the table needs.

I took my family to Gramado for the day. To top things off, we had fondue at the Swiss Cottage. We ordered fondue at R$72 per person, about U$33 with August 31, 2013 exchange. It was all you can eat. Everything was excellent from parking, greeting, seating and, of course, food.

Compared to other restaurants with same price this place has not the same quality of food and cleanness of other restaurants. I would definitely choose other option .

When Charles Chaplin approached us on the street and invite us for dinner, we thought "What the heck, didn't even know the man could talk!" And decided to indulge in a 'sequence of fondue', an all-you-can-eat fondue meal, starting with potatoes and polenta dipped in melted cheese, followed by all types of meat for you to grill yourself on a hot stone, with what must have been the biggest selection of sauces and chutneys someone has ever brought to my table, about 12 little pots with everything from strawberry jam to fine herbs dip, to go with the selection of fillet, chicken, pork loins and sausage. We actually asked to have both our starter melted cheese pot and our hot stone meat main meal at the same time. To finish it off, they served a hot pot of melted chocolate with several little pots of fresh fruits to dip on the chocolate. During your meal, you can ask for more of whatever you fancy, whether it is potatoes, meat, fruits, and it is all included n your 35 Reais per person. Amazing value, friendly service, tasty food. All perfect! We. Mae before 8 pm and got no queues but when we were leaving there was already a massive wait so I recommend you go early.

we had a great night, with good food, good enviroment and good music. Staff was kind and fast. the only issue, if it's one, it's the strong smoke smell that you leave the place due the meat foundue. maybe owners must think in any solution to reduce the problem.

After taking a walk around the Lago Negro, nothing better than resting and enjoying a good meal. If you walk a little further (ok, not so little... but still) you can find this restaurant, where not only the atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming, but also food and service are both great! Don't forget to ask for dessert: the Apfelstrudel there is delicious! :)

We spent 3 days in Gramado and found this elegant restaurant right near our hotel. The entire staff could not be friendlier. They accommodated us with our 2 year old daughter. Meanwhile, large groups enjoyed each other's company as did romantic couples. Our first visit we did the three course fondue dinner. It starts with classic cheese fondue, followed by an amazing racclette with picanha meat, filet, chicken, and pork, along with too many seasonings to list. Dessert was the best chocolate fondue we ever had. They have an extensive wine list and a full bar.We loved it so much that we came back for dessert again! This time we noticed they have a car pickup service for guests without a car that are staying at local hotels.Bring an appetite!
