Als Passion liebe ich gut zu Speisen auch wenn man dazu muss etwas Reisen. Ein toller Tisch und nettes Personal bestätigen die richtige Wahl. Sind Apero und die Gerichte überzeugend, ergibt das die ErfolgsGeschichte. Weil Dessert, Rechnungund auch Qualität stimmen muss ichdas Lob keinesfalls dimmen. ROGER du hast uns überzeugt, kein einzigerFranken hat uns gereut.

I was here on a business dinner, I would say that it is one of the best places for that in the region. Meat-based menus; portions are good but not excessive; high-end kitchen, food is very tasty and the preparation is sophisticated, even if basically the menu is not fancy. For instance, you can have - at the side of your meat - blue St.Gallen potatoes instead of the common ones. The dishes are also very elegantly prepared. Service is friendly and welcoming, rooms are spacious even for large groups, prices are a bit high for the region but commensurate to the quality.

Es handelt sich hier um noch ein richtig urchiges Restaurant in welchem man sich trifft und die Bewohner des Dorfes sich treffen. Auch Wanderer oder solche wie wir die dran vorbeifahren sind willkommen. Wir hatten Super Metzgete, mit freundlicher Bedienung in einer angenehmen Stimmung. Das Essen war wirklich sehr fein. Die Nachspeise, gebrannte Creme war weltklasse.

Picone's ristorante would be an excellent choice for lunch! If you like simple food and big portions, you should definitely go to Picone's! For lunch there are different options (soup or/and salad) + something from the menu = 13.50-22.00 CHF. If you go for Cordon bleu, bear in mind that it is huge! It is minimum 350 gr! It is better if you share it with someone else, especially if you take soup first, which is actually also very good! Service is great - fast, efficient, not annoying. Pleasant outside sitting area.

Our family spent one night at the Thermalquellen Resort after Luftansa had cancelled our flight and arranged accommodations for us at this resort/hotel thirty minutes by cab from Zurich Airport. We had vouchers to dine at the cafe style restaurant attached to the resort and had a fine meal with a make your own salad bar , Grilled chicken/Bratwurst and fries. Not gourmet but simple, hearty and filling.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang und schönes Ambiente. Die Speisekarte ist klein, aber für uns gerade richtig. Fein und auserlesen. Wir haben uns für ein Gericht auf der Schiefertafel entschieden und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Geschmackvoll gekocht und vom Küchenchef persönlich serviert. Kommen ganz sicher wieder.
