This restaurant seems to change style/management every season. During summer 2016 it is outstanding. Fairly limited menu, but something for everyone. There is a lunch special, poached cod the day we were there. Perfectly cooked until just opaque. We had dinner two times, made a return stop on the way home. The hamburger is fine. The entrecote we both had the second trip was perfect: red on the inside and charred on the edges, difficult with a relatively thin cut of meat. The food is cooked to order. Serving staff does not seem super-professional but very friendly and helpful. The cook(s) and servers seem to get on well together, which creates a nice atmosphere.

Trevlig restaurang som vi besökt flera gånger. Maten är vällagad och till ett vettigt pris. På dagarna serveras enklare gatuköksmat till hungriga poolbadare och på kvällarna a la carte, vi älskar deras plankor som finns i fyra olika varianter kvällstid. När det är trubadur/liveband brukar det endast finnas några få rätter, alternativt buffé att välja på. Vi hade gärna önskat att plankorna funnits varje kväll:))

Excellent seafood, very friendly Service. Not cheap, but fair price-performance ratio. We had cod and Fish soup. Great wine selection as well. Worth the driving. From September on opens only on weekends. Clean washrooms. Right on the water on an old harbor area.

Visited a couple of days before the festival in 2019. Lovely meal. Food excellent. Only reason not a 5 is we arrived 30minutes before closing so had to order and eat relatively quickly.Would definitely visit again, portions large. Freshly caught fish. I had herring, partner fish and chips (super).

I am going here frequently, it is a great place for a family dinner, business one or just with friends. The stuff is very welcoming and actually the best thing about this place is that the food is amazing. I am pregnant and very careful to what I eat, but I definitely trust this place to eat. They alwaya have very fresh ingredients and tasty food!!!

If you visit Nogersund you should pay a visit to this place to have lunch. Good meal served. It's one of the best places to eat fish. Very special and quiet. The waitress is so nice and kind that makes you feel even more confortable in this restaurant. 10 rated.

On a sunny summer day most people seem to come for the ice cream but I was set on lunch and felt like having some local fast food - fried herring. Served either with dark bread or mashed potatoes with condiments such as mustard-dill sauce, onion and parsley this is usually a lovely summer lunch. Unfortunately the chef working informed me that the potato mash was made from powder which did not give me a good impression. Served on bread the herring was ok, but a bit too salty.

We asked two locals for advice on where to eat in Sölvesborg, and both suggested Salvatores as "best in town." Not that this is a scientifically valid sampling, but our first-hand experience gives some credence to this opinion, as does the Tripadvisor ranking.I enjoyed a grilled fillet of pork, and my wife was very happy with her Funghi Portabello Ripieno--a mushroom dish. The choice of wine by the glass was limited to the house wine, but it was a decent, medium bodied Chianti.Service was friendly and attentive.Seating was available outside, but it was rather chilly even in July. But the inside was cozy.
