This is an excellent â and reasonably priced charming little restaurant and cheese specialist. I have onle visited this place for lunch twice, which has been really, really good. And the quality you get for the money you spend is truly amazing. My friends who live in the neighbourhood have assured me that the dinners and their service for banquets are as amazing as their lunches. They also have a nice wine assortment and a little shop where they sell cheeses and charcuteries. Turinge is family driven, with real attention to details and you will be carefully taken care of regardless if you visit for wine tasting, shopping or having lunch or dinner. By the way, they also have a high quality ice cream shop where they serve danish ice cream. This place is highly recommended.

Burgers are way under par, very sloppy and messy, small and half cooked. Got told of by the staff for something I hadn't done. Warning. Aware that it is a fast food burger joint but the quality is below average of this kind of joint in Sweden (I'm a native)

This is a wonderful place to celebrate special events.We had a 3 course lunch and each of the courses was cooked to perfection.The white wine complemented the Fish main and the light ale was in a similar category.Definitely a place to return to with , excellent food,service and ambiance.

Comprises cluster of buildings around the site of an old mine, worked mostly in the nineteenth century. There is a small, two room museum with a 20 SEK entry (kids are free). It could be a lot better in explaining things and all the signage is in Swedish only. Next door is the site of the main shaft which went down over 300 metres chasing deposits of magnetite, an iron ore. Further along they demonstrate charcoal making. The restaurant itself is pretty good. A small range of classic Swedish daily specials main dishes. Portion size is generous. I had dillkott Chicken which was tasty and filling. There is plenty of seating outside and inside. They have a good summer program of live bands. This is a nice little bolt-on tripette if you are in Mariefred visiting Grippsholm Slott. The whole thing is very kid friendly.

Cozy little restaurant serving tapas-style small dishes. They are often based on classics from the Swedish cuisine. Many ingredients are locally sourced. Make sure to the delicious zander. It was fished in lake Mälaren, not many miles from the restaurant.The restaurant interior is imagniative and tells the story of when the building housed a barbershop up until the early 1980's. Friendly and attentive service.Very happy to have been here and will gladly return.

The pavillion and its staff provided excellent assistance to a very special bride and groom as they celebrated Their Day in marvelous style. The food was good, the beverages abundant, and the service was spot-on. Bravo!
