Went with 15 people and the food was excellent, fresh and very reasonably priced. We were asked if we wished to pay separately, which we did. Everybody ordered and paid at the desk; how civilised. The food came quickly and all our orders were correct. Can't wait to go to this restaurant again. The ambience of Komichi was great too.

After discovering this small Sushi restaurant we've returned regularly . The food quality is great. The best sushi/sashimi (sashimi is a generous portion) I've had in a long time and there is a good range of options. Service is also quick - so it's a perfect spot if you're moving on to the movies or another engagement (it's also good for takeaway). It's OK to linger too. The tables are small, so if you have more than 2 people you end up juggling plates a bit, but that can be a bit of fun if you have a positive attitude.I notice some reviewers have said it's a bit expensive - I don't think so. We feel it's very reasonable, and a lot cheaper than other sushi restaurants we've visited where quality was nowhere near as good.

Food was very good - especially the sizzling salmon. Decore was clean but ordinary. Steel chopsticks was an unusual addition. Unfortunately, the waitress kept trying to take our plates from the previous course away (although we hadn't finished it). I refused, but one time when my mouth was full, she snatched it away. I quickly swallowed and called after her but she kept going. Spoilt a good meal. If you go, hold on to your plates!

Dropped in for diner and the food was was tasty, well presented and was delivered quickly. The only downside was they didn't supply a plate eat over, so you had to take food off the dish in the middle of the table and get it to your mouth without mishap. I'm not bad with chopsticks but it took the edge of an otherwise pleasant dining experience.I would certainly return.l

Kibou- first time for me at a japanese restaurant. Loved it, plenty of dishes to choose from.....we chose delicate salmon, sushi, chicken teriyaki, chicken karaage and assorted sides. Glasses of chilled water and a sharing bowl of warm, salty beans were served promptly. Meals were well presented and portions were a good size.Very enjoyable.
