CRAVE American Kitchen & Sushi Bar is a fine dining restaurant that serves up a vibrant and diverse menu, fresh sushi and an award-winning wine list in a chic and energetic setting.
Two friends and I were on a day trip to Sioux City and we decided to eat at Crave for lunch. Beautiful restaurant, right on the river, indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered the Walleye fish sandwich with fresh fruit. The fish was fried on the outside, and ice cold on the inside. It also was not walleye, not sure what cut of fish it was. We told the server who immediately took it back to the kitchen and they redid the sandwiches with walleye and it was good. They also brought us another bowl of fresh fruit. The manager came over and apologized and comped pour meal, which was very nice. The server was very friendly, but wasn't always attentive. She was talking to other employees. We finally asked if our dessert was ready. We saw it waiting on the counter. The chocolate cake was awesome! It was a great place, just need to do some tweaking!Hi, I wanted to personally reach out and apologize for your substandard dining experience. Please know weâll be sharing this with our management team and chef. Will you please email me at your earliest convenience so I can personally help resolve the issue for you? Please email me at [email protected], I look forward to connecting.Thank you, Kylie

Stopped in for lunch. We noticed that the buffet was really heavy in chicken dishes unlike previous times. Very little beef or pork dishes and fewer seafood than usual. It was almost noon and some serving tools still weren't out. I'm on water meds and my server was fantastic. I got quick refills on my water. I've never had some great service as this gentleman was great. Great dessert selection if you are interested.

I want to start by saying that the food was absolutely delicious! I enjoyed my entire meal and would recommend the restaurant for the food. However, I called in my order for pick up prior to leaving my hotel, and it was not done anywhere near the timeframe I was given. It was quite a long wait after I arrived for pick up. I believe that my order was not put in until I actually arrived. The lady at the front seemed surprised when I arrived and took my ticket to the back at that time. The wait was unacceptable and too long for an order called in ahead of time, but the food was so good. Hopefully, this was just a one off experience.
Where to eat Asian food in Sioux City: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Took my sweetie here--- the selection, price, and quality were all outstanding. The only thing I didn't particularly care for was that we were instructed to sit at the sushi bar since that's all we were ordering. I wanted something a little more private, so the sushi chef wasn't hearing every word I said to my SO. Otherwise... nice menu, was overall pleased and will go again.

I eat here (or at least try to) every time I am in Sioux City. The staff is always courteous, kind, knowledgeable and friendly, the menu does change from time to time, the service is great and I like the fact that the staff here actually does recognize you and ask you how you are doing. Small touches like that IMO make or break my opinion of the place. The prices here are decent, as is the selection and quality of food. There have been a few things I didn't care for, but it was something I hadn't eaten before and wanted to try---so no fault of theirs. You can stay, or put in a takeout order. Even huge orders he usually has done in like fifteen minutes so you can go to Braungers or grab a few things at the dollar tree, etc.
