BYOB. I can not say one bad thing about Haru (Funny--I think they're changing their name to "Yama" but for the sake of the review, I'll call it Haru.) We have been here more than 10 times and never had a bad experience.Prices--fair for the portions. They even have a whole page of half priced special rolls, which average $7. Very generous.Service--exceptionally friendly. More friendly than any other sushi restaurant I've been to. The main server is such a sweetheart. The rest of the staff is patient, efficient, and very accommodating. The sushi chef is always very gracious as well.Food--outstanding. Every piece of sashimi or sushi roll I've had has been spot on. The presentation is always on point. The dishes are beautifully arranged. The sushi rice is the most tasty I've ever experienced. I can't put my finger on it, but I want to scarf down a whole bowl of it with just my hands. It's that delicious.Decor/atmosphere--cute, bright and clean. On the smaller side, but never any noise issues. Plenty of space between tables. My favorite dish here is the chirashi.Just go!! You won't be disappointed! !

AÂ re-purposed Jersey Diner has a Chinese/Japanese restaurant sitting inside of it. It is slightly dated, but the personalized service was outstanding making me feel right at home even though it was my first time there. Not too many surprises on the menu, but they are reasonably priced especially for their lunch special which I ordered from, and the food was better than average. If in the area, I would go back for sure. I had the wonton soup and entree of pork with broccoli with pork fried rice.

The lack of old fashioned sit down Chinese restaurants had brought the buffet style vs takeout battle to a head. Peking is the better of the two buffet style restaurants in Glassboro, located basically across the street from each other in different shopping centers. The key to good taste here...wait until they bring out a fresh platter of your favorite, don't take the last spoonful from the tray. Works Everytime to ensure fresh and hot servings

After hearing numerous "raves" about a restaurant hidden away in a local strip mall - Ocean Asian Cuisine - I decided to order take-out meals from there one evening to surprise my husband who would be arriving home from a long day on the road. As recommended by a friend, I ordered the Tai Mango Chicken and was not disappointed. My husband enjoys sushi and sashimi and was pleased at how fresh the Yellowtail tuna was. Since that time two months ago, we have gone back to Ocean Asian Cuisine at least weekly for both lunch and dinner. Not only is the food delicious but the presentation of entrees is exquisite. The staff is friendly and offer great service. Recently took the entire family who ordered many varied entrees -- Honey Walnut Chicken, Salmon Avocado roll, General Tso's Chicken and the Sesame Chicken and the NY strip steak hibachi (all delicious).

This is a very friendly place with good service, nice atmosphere. Not everybody here speaks good English but they make it up with hospitality. Everything at Tokyo was just a little bit better. Their wanton soup is unusually delicious. The seaweed salad is better then average. Sushi is better than in most places. their chef's recommended dishes are amazing. At the end of our meal we got warm moist napkins and wedges of orange shaped like oriental birds and the fortune cookies which were - you guessed - just a little bit better, chocolate covered and with vanilla flavor and very high class, "philosophical" and uplifting messages.

Being a sushi lover I have eaten my fair share and Tomo is pretty good for the price. They have a great menu selection and also offer all you can eat sushi. Everything we ordered was fresh and very good, honestly no complaints. If there are no other places in the area where you can get sushi this is a great option, I just have my favorite places that I would prefer to go to if I had the chance.

We've been getting carryout from this restaurant for many years. They recently added a new dish to the Chef Specialties: Thai Mango Chicken. I've had it about five times over the past few months, and it's been delicious every time. We've never eaten in the restaurant but get carryout about twice a month. Most of the food is pretty typical Chinese fare. Food is prepared promptly and we've never had any complaints.

Not a very good meal. No one in our party of 5 enjoyed their meal. The lobster bisque and house salads were very good. But the entrees were a disappointment. My chicken verde was poorly prepared. A too thin, over breaded and over cooked chicken breast was sliced into sticks. I can say the salad portion of the plate was very fresh. Two of our deserts had to be replaced because the didnât taste right. We were seated well away from the nearly empty main dining room and spent much of the evening asking for them to put on the heat. Even the sugar packets were hard. Wonât be back.
