Has a sister restaurant in Eagan, MN
Kyoto Sushi, Eagan is a Sushi lovers nirvana. We were there for lunch to celebrate my sonâs birthday. This was my first time at Kyoto so I was really surprised by the lunch menu. $15.99 per person, all you can eat. Yes...you read that correctly...âALL YOU CAN EAT!â For that price, you might expect a very limited or restricted menu...youâd be wrong! It included soup, all sorts of sushi and sashimi, ice cream for desert, drinks...what more could you want for $15.99?

We decided to order and pick up at Tokyo Sushi & Grill but you could also eat there. They were busy on a Friday night with a full restaurant, plus a lot take out orders. We ordered online (they were kind enough to call and clarify for us, as we had mistakenly ordered off the lunch menu) for 6 of us. We enjoyed the steak teriyaki, chicken katsu, and two bento boxes (salmon roll and alaska roll). All entrees came with miso soup and salad. We had enough with 4 orders for the 6 of us (including 2 teenage boys who eat a lot!). The egg rolls were tasty as well as the potstickers (included in the bento box). While I wouldn't put this up with your fine dining of Japanese restaurants, it's a great local alternative. We'd definitely go back again!

We've eaten here many times now and we come back as often as we can. We've eaten at many Hibachi places in the US and their chefs are as good and as entertaining as any we've ever seen. Also, I don't know how they do it but their seafood is as good and fresh as any seafood restaurant on the coasts. The prices here are also very reasonable, especially if you're just looking for a good lunch. I've had the scallops, the shrimp, the swordfish, the chicken... all of it is excellent. Even the simple soups and salads are excellent. And you can't beat a mouthful of free saki sprayed into your mouth from across the Hibachi... or "baby Saki" for the kids :-)This has become one of our absolute favorite restaurants anywhere.
