Reviews on Sushi food in Sanibel Island, Florida, United States. Most vacation spots are either relaxing (Tahiti) or family-friendly (Orlando). Sanibel Island, however, is that rare place which is both. Spend a quiet afternoon shell-collecting, or find a hotel with a kids' program so you can enjoy a trip to the spa or a round of golf.

This was our first visit to Shima after numerous visits to Sanibel. Food and service was outstanding. Only niggle it was not made clear to us that a gratuity was included in the bill. Our party of three tipped very generosity (25+ percent) on top of the added gratuity. Didn't realize this until after we returned to our condo. Not sure if we'll return.Thank you very much for your feedback, Daniel. We'd really like to discuss your visit with us. Our management team can be reached at 239-395-6017 or [email protected]. Thank you so much.

My wife and I reprised oyster bar experiences from many East American Coastal places and couldn't recall anyone better. We've been lucky enough to slip the seasonal crowds at both the restaurant and oyster bar more than I will reveal, but you can make the scene, too.The hours seem quirky, but I think that's usually a good thing. Good oysters, served by hand, are worth any wait time.

Sea Breeze Cafe offers breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week from 7am till 10pm. Offering stunning Gulf views and al fresco dining on the terrace, guests can enjoy island seafood favorites, innovative entrees, salads and sandwiches for a dining ex
Went for dinner last night as a family. Had booked reservation few weeks in advance to be able to have beach side dining. Views are lovely but everything else was low rate. From the initial experience of witnessing hostess speaking rudely to a potential customer over the phone, to being told it would take too long to order a specific appetizer, we felt the whole evening was far below adequate. Our waitress was nice but forgot part of the order and never returned to check on the table. Ordered seafood dish that was overly salted and mostly inedible, with burnt "garlic toast". The accompanying pasta was soggy and overcooked, and tasted like it was drenched in unsalted butter and water. Even had we wanted to send it back, the server didn't return and so it went mostly uneaten. Quality of the seafood was no better than our grocery store in Midwest, i.e: not bad for frozen. Eventually had to flag the manager down to pay our bill and even that took 10 minutes. Left hungry and upset having spent 150 bucks for poor service and terrible food. This was for two adult entrees and three kids meals. Staying at another wonderful establishment, island inn, and traditions on the beach has far superior food and service. Will never even stay at sundial based on our dining experience. We are sorry to hear your feedback on your visit to our Sea Breeze restaurant. We strive to provide every patron with an exceptional dining experience. We are sorry, to have not met your expectation. As director of food & beverage at the Sundial Beach Resort & Spa, I would like to discuss this further with you. Would you be so kind, to give me a call at 239 395 6027Frederick
