Lovely service (drinks and clearing the plates as it is a buffet so you help yourself!) Lots to choose from and lots of choice of desserts too! The kids loved it too! (And were amazed at the frogs legs ha ha!) Always replenishing the food too so it was always hot and fresh.

Gourmet restaurant specializing in tapas, hot and cold breakfasts, traditional food, sushi, fresh fish and prime meats.
Casa Moncayo is a simple, basic restaurant/coffee bar in Pueblo Nuevo. Not particularly trendy or smart, but it is our go-to place for breakfast. They do excellent eggs and bacon, also really good scrambled eggs with toasted country bread. Naturally they do the tomato and toast breakfast which is very tasty. The coffee is always good. Prices are much lower than on the marina in Sotogrande and it's much more Spanish, there never appear to be many English people there. Service can be a bit slow (not unusual in Spain!), there only ever appears to be one waiter on duty. He does always provide service with a smile! We've had the occasional lunch here, nothing exciting but fine for a quick meal.

Decided to give this restaurant a try last night as is one of the few weâve yet to try. Previously the name had put me off. What a shame,,, weâve been missing a gem. The first thing of note is that the staff were absolutely lovely! I appreciate the port is rammed during August and that staff are under a great deal of pressure, and we were eating early before the major rush of later but they seemed genuinely eager to please. The food was exceptional, starting with the guacamole which was had made in front of us! Delicious! Mains, Rissotto, piping hot, well seasoned with a vegetarian option. I had mine with salmon, excellent. And finally to round off an amazing selection of homemade desserts. My husband had the blueberry cheesecake. I was too full to give it a go but I would have had to have fought him for a bit as he polished it off with relish.
