Sushi Bar and Grill with a fusion menu including Korean BBQ. Full bar and Lounge.
First, let me start out by saying I don't eat Sushi. So I ordered the Teryaki chicken and I was very impressed. The flavor and cut of chicken was great! The rest of my family ordered sushi and they really liked it. The restaurant is very busy and crowded. When we arrived around 8:15pm on a Friday night, the wait time was 40 minutes. Seats opened up on the bar, and we took them - which resulted in no wait time. Actually, sitting at the bar was very interesting, as we were able to see the wide variety of sushi dishes - and I must say - they looked beautiful! Initially, we had a difficult time finding our server, but when I mentioned to someone else that we were ready to order, the server returned and from that point on, was quite attentive. If you like sushi, I'd recommend you give this place a try.

Had a gastronomical sushi and sashimi feast here on a Tuesday for lunch and wasnât blown away. I found the presentation lacking pizzazz and fish lacking the X-factor. I also found the service somewhat wanting given the amount of food. I went for the second size platter which came with miso and salad, both of which were good. But I blame the waitress for not giving me a heads-up on the quantity of food I was about to receive or advising me on perhaps better options that wouldnât have driven our lunch for two over $90. On the plus side, they offered a boatload of ginger which was very generous, but the wasabi looked like sad toothpaste squirted from a frosting tube. In all, it seemed like the restaurant was more interested in making a sale than treating its customers ârightâ, and I wasnât impressed by the meal.

Make a reservation or expect a minimum 1 hour wait. That said, the food is delicious! We ordered the following: Yakisoba, Rice pot with Kimchee and Beef, Kimchee Ramen, Pot stickers, cold cucumber salad, sushi and sashimi Hamachi and Maguro, and it was all delicious! Well seasoned, hot and fresh, flavorful and worth the hour wait. Small restaurant, sat at the bar.

This was the first Japanese Restaurant we saw after finding street parking (free after 6 p.m. but note that other specialty stores may be closed by then). Since it was rated pretty high on Yelp, we decided to try it out. The portions were good for the price. Service was excellent. Menu items included bento style, sushi, tempura, steam baskets, noodles, etc. Other customers there shared that they visited more than once. I also liked visiting the Japanese market across the street from the restaurant.
