Reviews on Sushi food in San Diego, California, United States. San Diego embodies laid-back California culture, complete with a Boardwalk, surfing communities, and outstanding Mexican food. Breathe in the fresh ocean air at Sunset Cliffs Natural Park, then gobble down a fresh fish taco at a La Jolla seafood joint. The naval aircrafts at the USS Midway Museum will have you standing at attention. A free Sunday concert at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion is the perfect way to unwind after a Saturday night bar-hop in the thumping Gaslamp Quarter.

If you're in and about Old Town, and not looking for Mexican food, Harney Sushi is a find. Great sushi, reasonable prices and excellent service. I had the "Bomb James Bomb" - just enough of a spicy kick to the scallops to make them extra interesting. We also had an order of Tempura Shrimp - excellent and the third person had the O'Sider #55 roll - anice combo of spicy crab, shrimp tempura topped with a thin slice of NY strip. Our meal for 3 with drinks and tip came to $100. We got there at 8:30 on a Sunday night and it was still crowded. Parking can be a hassle - we parked a block away. But would I go back - absolutely.Joanne,Thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely review. I’m so pleased that you enjoyed your meal at Harney Sushi, and we look forward to having you back:)

Location would not be an indication of what waits for in this restaurant. But once inside great atmosphere and friendly service. The nigiri s are exceptional, each fish enhanced in a unique way. I was not that crazy about the the ones that are combinations of multitude of ingredients though. Mackerel, salmon, yellowtail were all exceptional

We stayed close to the Catamaran and stopped by to eat at Oceana. Service was excellent. From the busser who found us a table to our waitress...all were friendly and professional. The food was good...live music was nice...not too loud. We found the prices to be a bit on the expensive side. Then again we were paying for the view as well as the live music. Will definitely return as well as recommend. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of your most recent visit to Catamaran’s signature restaurant Oceana Coastal Kitchen. We are delighted to hear that our staff made such an exemplary effort to ensure you left with positive memories! We are looking forward to you joining us again soon!
