Puyallup, Washington (/pjuːˈæləp/ ( listen) pew-AL-əp or /pjuːˈɔːləp/ pew-AWL-əp) is a city in Pierce County, Washington, about 10 miles (16 km) southeast of Tacoma and 35 miles (56 km) south of Seattle. The population was 37,022 at the 2010 Census and the Washington State Office of Financial Management estimated the 2014 population at 38,670. Named after the Puyallup Tribe of Native Americans, Puyallup means "the generous people". It is also home to the Washington State Fair, the state's main fair.

Whoever the blonde waitress is needs some training about how to interact with customers. I hope management does something about her. This was my first time visiting and although the sushi was good and so were the prices, I would hesitate to sit down again if this individual was working.

I really enjoyed the food here and the service was top notch. The have great sushi and I really liked the tempura. Great coating and not overly greasy. We will return. Service as GREAT!

Overall the place was average; décor, food, service etc. The sushi rolls were large and colorful, but flavor free. Some in our group ordered Bento plates. They seemed satisfied. Guess I'm spoiled where I live, if most other reviews consider this excellent food...

Food was delicious the price range is high but if you're in the area and you're craving sushi I suggest you stop by and try it

This is a nice sushi option in Puyallup if, like me, you aren't that impressed with Trapper's. The ingredients here are fresh with nice flavor combinations in their sushi. The service is friendly and fast. There are other nice menu items for a person that doesn't like sushi.
