Spiffy little restaurant specializing in sushi, japanese and chinese cuisine in a nice country setting in the piney woods. Super fresh sushi and great rolls. I like their chirashi (seasoned bed of sushi rice with 4 types of sliced fish scattered on top. They have a large selection of rolls and wok cooked items. The place is always busy. Their to-go items are always well packaged. Very friendly service. A real plus for the Ponchatoula area.

I got the house salad with the grilled shrimp and wasabi ranch. The shrimp were a bit smaller than expected but still good. Overall, I love the ambience of this place. Itâs a great venue to grab a beer and watch the game. Loved the style of the place. Great bar grub.

Haven't ever done the hibachi here, but it looks popular whenever we are in the restaurant. We go here as an alternative because they are open when our favorite sushi place takes a day off. I have friends who go here really often and are really happy with their food and service. Nice place, nice service.

Husband and I ate there for dinner and it was great. We ordered the sweet and sour chicken appetizer and was delighted by the taste. Don't be fooled by the small bowl it comes in, we ate on it throughout our meal. Also, the soup was wonderful. Our entrees were great, too but they did not stick in my mind like the soup and appetizer.

Hands down the best hibachi within 500 miles. I am yet to find a better fried rice. Which ever dish you order, you can bet it will be delicious. I think the title is misleading "Kirin Sushi." The sushi variety is vast and we'll prepared, but the hibachi is the real star here.
