My first visit with a friend who goes there often. We had lunch there and had a very nice young waitress. We each had the General Chicken. It was very good, generous portion and excellent fried rice! I chose the Miso soup rather than a salad not knowing it had Tofu in it. I am not a fan of Tofu but did eat a few spoonfuls of the broth. Prices were very reasonable. I will go again.
Where to eat Chinese food in Ozark: The Best Restaurants and Bars
We ordered spring rolls, crab rangoons, pad Thai and magic noodles. The food is affordable and decent. It was flavorful. The spring rolls where just lettuce and carrots. When I've ordered them other places they usually have noodles in them. The peanut sauce was very good. I would eat here again for a casual lunch or take out. They had a pot of soup set up we saw others helping themselves too. We got some too. It was good but a little weird that they didn't serve it. I felt they could improve their service. It's the little things that were missing that added up like having to get your own soup, not bringing plates with the appetizers, a little garnish on the entrees would have added to the experience. More of a take out place but good for a quick Thai lunch.
After a long day in the sun and wind, on New Year's Eve, we ended up at Nagoya with my husband craving sushi. We were not disappointed...Started with a simple miso soup, with tiny chunks of tofu.....very satisfying. The Geisha roll was good, but he thought it was GREAT. The Star Jalapeno roll was AMAZING, he thought it was good. We both agreed that the Shrimp Tempura was probably the best we have ever had - discussed all the way home why our tempura isn't all that great, in fact probably not worth trying at home again. Ended with a bowl of complimentary, wonderful Green Tea Ice Cream....after which we sat and talked about what a great year this has been for us.Would have been five stars had the atmosphere been a tad less fast foody and a little bit more "romantic". As it is I will go 4.5. Who would have known this place was so close to home....
